Big Sam? At this stage I would take Bob Carolgees and Spit the Dog!

Lampard has done nothing benitez didn't do.

A good few games at the start of the season and then absolutely nothing after it. Benitez took us on this horrendous run.

At this point any manager is taking us down. The minute we allowed benitez time when you could see how bad we were it's condemed us.

I don't believe these players can do that. We are that bad , can't move away from it. We aren't being out tactic'd by other teams to just throw blame at the manager or expect another to change things. Our defenders fail at what they are meant to be doing. Our attackers tonight had plenty of the ball around the box and did nothing with it or even looked like they knew what to do.

I know people want to blame or point fingers or look for any reason other than the reality of our situation. But the truth is this set of players under 3 managers this season can't attack , can't defend and can't control the ball in midfield. There is no fix for it , no new manager could come in and fix our leaky defence or make our attack any better than clueless.
Good post, the responsibility for this mess lies at Moshiri's feet. At the moment he is like the Scarlet Pimpernel along with our chairman.

Well said Frank in that interview, a manager fighting back with every question put to him, he has the fight in him just the clowns on the pitch need to show some fight

Don't buy into his sh1te please. The grandstanding is over. I knew he was desperate when he said pre-match "these are the games you play football for". We need a tactician not an ex player beating their chest/shaking their fist at a cloud

If we were a well ran club we would have learned from past mistakes and been proactive and already had a contingency plan in place to stay in the PL at all costs in case it didn't work with Frank and set it in motion right now while there are still 9 games left to stay in the league. Everton are the compete opposite of well ran though and will have no plan in place whatsoever and so pulling the plug on Frank would mean us being manager-less for a month and ultimately still being relegated anyway.

I don't see any way out of what is coming, not with this mickey mouse of a club anyway.

I find myself despairing at us never looking to defend out a game. Naivety is a good word. A point from West Ham and Burnley each would have been good.

It's all conjecture, some will say we couldn't do defensive under Benitez etc. Either way, this is horrible to watch unfold. We look doomed.

We couldn't defend under a "defensive" coach either in Benitez.

Play 5 defenders, still get beat.

1 fit midfielder tonight. He could've played Coleman. Could've brought in some of the kids.

We've scored more own goals, had more errors leading to goals, and more players sent off than any team in the league.

We could do a load of things. These players can't.

Jesus lad wanted rid of Benitez but you cannot be happy with Lampard since he’s come in?

Lots of individual mistakes but he’s sticking by them each time. Kenny played in all but one game for him since he’s come in.
I want long term continuity. I accepted relegation in November, the rot had set in and people didn’t want to accept it. One club always drops like a rock and that’s us.

So sacking him ain’t changing anything, just more turmoil

We're absolutely dire, we fully deserve to go down, Moshiri has been an absolute disaster for this club and now his ineptitude, his poor appointments, his listening to agents and allowing them to influence recruitment and general meddling in football matters, has finally come back to bite his arse.

Make no mistake this team is going down and we will be left with the EPL watching our financial position like hawks, we will have lost our main sponsor, Usmanov, and be trying to finance a ground building on championship money. The only consolation here is that this will, probably hasten his departure, there's little point in him sticking around until the ground is built now, as it probably won't be unless somebody buys him out on the cheap.

that they’ve took us down?

I think we'll go down Matty. I think he's set us up absolutely spot on the last two games and we've created enough chances to get 4 points minimum.

Not much a manager can do with the mistakes we've seen the last two games. They happen no matter who is manager and the reason we know this is because it's been going on for over a year/24 months with some of these players.

The squad is massively imbalanced, no leaders, not enough quality, unfit, injury prone players, players who don't care, players who do care but haven't got the bottle needed to play for Everton Football Club.
