He’s no saviour, he never was. All fool those that made that up and beleived that.

This was a last gasp attempt at bringing in a footballer who may be able to raise some spirits. And the players failed spectacularly.

Just admit like I do that as a team, we are on our knees and have given up. The club will survive this, but not in the Premier League.

It's probably a necessary purge.

Irony of it all is that Rooney thought he wasn't experienced enough to take the job, but he's done a better job with Derby's situation than Frank's done with Everton's. Bigger picture though is that Frank should have had the humility to turn it down and leave someone better qualified (if you want to avoid the above purge, that is).

He used Chelsea’s transfer ban to his advantage and brought the likes of Mount and James in who in turn played big parts in England’s Euro run and got the club into the Champions League which they went on to win the following year

Combine that with Thirwell’s knowledge of youth players and being more sensible with fees and we could get a far more competitive and hungry squad than we do now

Had Chelsea in 9th place and leaking goals all whilst having the worst point per game of any manager under Abramovich. Said multiple times that his side aren't ready to compete for the Champions League in the same season they won it.

All depends if you are a glass half empty/full. If you look as the situation as a whole he wasn't and still isn't anywhere near being qualified for a job like Everton. We've just got to hope he learns on the job, avoids relegation and is allowed to rebuild in the summer.
