I agree but if Iwobi's anything is that he is a 10. I think he played deeper coz Allan and 'Bad Cough Today Note for the Teacher' are so slowThing is, he isn't playing as a number 10 at the moment, he's playing pretty much as a number 8, which gives him the opportunity to drive forward with the ball, something he is well capable of doing. He brings to the team, pretty much what Doucoure did before his injury, power and mobility to our weak static midfield. At the moment Iwobi is performing better in that role than Doucoure, who has not looked the same player since coming back. In fairness to Iwobi, he's probably also a technically better player than Doucoure.
I don't think he has the tools in the box to be a number 10, his main asset is his power on the ball, making surging runs forward and his energy and physicality. I just don't think he has the finesse to be a number 10, it's possible, through necessity, that Lampard has discovered the best way to use him. Only time will tell, it could be another flash in the pan, or, he could settle in as a number 8.I agree but if Iwobi's anything is that he is a 10. and unable to contribute in attacking.
I say he's a 10 as well coz he's not a winger and even though his scoring record is a consistent one a season two if you're lucky.
The players think he is the most skilled at the club!I don't think he has the tools in the box to be a number 10, his main asset is his power on the ball, making surging runs forward and his energy and physicality. The players think whatever the club's publicity team tell them to say that they think. Have you watched him play? Do you think he is the most skilled at the club? The players think he is the most skilled at the club!

Probably, there’s no probably about it. Players probably clubbing together to back him up as he was given so much stick on SM from fans. The players think whatever the club's publicity team tell them to say that they think. Have you watched him play? Do you think he is the most skilled at the club?
Skill and finesse are different though. We've always known he can go on mad dribbles and he's got really fast feet etc, I have no doubt he is very skillful in that sense. The issue is translating those skills into an effective role in the team, and that's where he's always struggled. In many ways, just being tasked with putting in loads of effort and runing as fast as he can, and then occasionally producing a good through ball or opening the pitch up with a little bit of skill has suited him perfectly in recent weeks. Whether that's sustainable either for him or as a role in the team is something Lampard is going to have to work out.The players think he is the most skilled at the club!
I agree mate he should adopt weird dancing celebrations like alan pardew since first pumps are a trademark Klopp move and wouldn't want to be sued.
