Gray needs the free role he was given earlier in the season under Benitez. He's proved he's good enough to do it. Don't play him as a winger. Give him more responsibility. He was thriving in that role under a manager that knew what he was doing. Listening to the calls for Rondon to play now has had me chuckling.

All I've seen since FL has been here is lump it forward. Is he Sam Allardyce 30 years younger? I've never been more disillusioned with the quality of the football. Buys players and doesn't play them. You can make the argument for full on defense with no attempt to attack as we did against ManUtd but why dress it up as more than it is?

We've been riding our luck for weeks, 2pens against Burnley. Riding our luck against a knackered Leicester who battered us. Luck will soon run out. What's the plan then?

I imagine you compare any managers last days in the job to the first on a job it would always favoir the manager starting out as the manager was sacked.

Yes and while speculating let's also consider all the trophies he could have won but didn't by not telling the players they lacked bollocks when they lost.

The only time Benitez was brought in in a similar role in his career, he got relegated, with Newcastle back in 2016

And when we do create chances our world class PSG and Arsenal-bound forwards usually spoon them wide when it’s easier to score.

Its quite simple.

Benitez got results for the first few games then our form was bottom 3 for the rest of the sesson.

Lampard has us 11th in the form guide so seems to be improving the team.

Id rather have a manager that improves a team than one who doesnt.

He doesn’t move to get in those positions. We’ve put plenty of corners into those areas, where has Calvert-Lewin been? Nowhere near any of them. Standing still being marked waiting for it to be placed perfectly onto his head. That’s poor centre forward play, at least Richarlison showed he can lose a marker/find space.

Richarlison didn't move for his chances the other day mate. He literally stood still for the first one and the second one he just jumped.

Look at them again, it's awful defending and good crosses from Gordon.

But yeah, Dom's movement has been poor. He's just not fit at all, clearly isn't able or willing (I don't think it's effort, it's mental to me) to push that injury - and he should have had surgery and just written the season off
