I personally think lampard is the right man even if we go down. He speaks well in press conferences and isn't afraid to call people out (including his team), he has brought some good coaches into the set up, I can see an identity that he is trying to install. It's a massive rebuild he's started at Everton. It will take time. I just hope to god that we don't need to drop down a league to kick-start the rebuild.
Me personally I'm not a big fan of calling out players in public. It doesn't help create a positive team spirit & togetherness. Mourinho generated a toxic atmosphere at United when he started slagging off individuals, Luke Shaw being one of them. These are professional players who play at the highest level, they've earned the right to be treated with a little bit of respect, especially from someone who's supposed to have their back. Confidence is a very fragile thing. When you lose it as a player, or even worse, as a collective unit, it's not something that comes back overnight or with someone doubting your commitment to the cause. The best thing Lampard could do right now is to arrange a full get together of the lads & have a day out on the golf course with a few beers & a few laughs. The pressure on everyone at the moment is off the scale. Everyone at the club, including us, needs a release of some sort.

I'm not going to resort to petty squabbling like you seem to like doing.

Perhaps you should actually look at the stats, they do not lie.
Thing is does it even matter what he is doing compared to Rafael? Really it doesn't, all the matters is how he is doing compared to the other managers down there, and 10 points from 33 isn't good enough.
Saying that it's still on the players, and always was

If we go down, if nothing else, it's in the best interests of his career that Lampard gets us back up.

He's the most valuable footballing asset we have.

He's our man and that's it.
A bloke who finished 6th in championship and failed at first hurdle to quality, failed at Chelsea and taking everton 6 points from relegation into the relegation places.

Hes he best asset we have????? If he relegates us?

It must be remembered that Frank Lampard has been unlucky with the fixtures that were left to be played when he arrived. Many of the fixtures had already been played(and lost) against teams that would have given us the best chance of taking points.
I think he has had to face just about all the top teams.

I think he has done well overall and if we go down we need to stick with him, support him in the market and try to get straight back up.

If we are relegated we will almost certainly sell a number of players, Pickford, Richarlison, Allan, Holgate, Mina and possibly DCL ( although that is less likely now given the season he is having).
That will generate funds and certainly make substantial wage cuts when added to the savings from the players that will be out of contract.

There are others like Gomes that may leave as well.

We should still have a strong squad of players for the championship in Begovic, Coleman, Keane, Godfrey, Branthwaite, Myolenko, Davies, Doucoure, Iwobi, Gray, Gordon, Patterson and Rondon.
Young players like Dobbin, Welch, Whitaker, Simms , Mills , Price and maybe others will be added to the squad and we certainly will need to sign at least another four or five.

He speaks well in press conferences. You are Actually putting that forward for a reason he should keep his job if he relegated us?

Lampard 15 games Won 5
Premier league = PL 12 10pts

Benitez last 15 games Won 3
Premier league = PL 14 PL 9pts

I know people that are mad charming and good looking and it allows them to get away with a lot of crap in life than less personable average people I know.

Noticing a correlation

I do not want us to change manager again. It’s part of our problem. He needs to be given time whatever.
