2021/22 Frank Lampard

First post on here, so bear with me.

Although I was happy enough with the Lampard appointment when it happened, I think it’s been proven now to be a pretty disastrous one. His tactics are non existent, his demeanour is dreadful, he lacks any motivational ability it seems, and he’s constantly spouting “proper football manager” cliches pre and post game rather than any kind of incisive knowledge of the game. I really think he’s been dreadful in hindsight.

I disliked Benitez, and didn’t want him for obvious reasons, but the difference in ability between him and a Lampard is stark. He’s twice the tactical manager of Lampard. Just the wrong manager for this club, that’s all.

Benitez should never have been appointed, not because of his managerial ability, but because it was obvious that it was a bad fit from day one.

The players are [Poor language removed], for the most part, but our managerial choices are what has (likely) relegated us. Only hope now is some kind of miracle points swing between us and Leeds.

Burnley put a guy in charge who was sacked by tranmere. Didn't work out too bad for them taking a gamble

I'm pretty sure Burnley did the exact same thing last season in terms of getting results to get out of relegation.

Regardless of manager bounce, theyve got it in the locker and we're a threat of getting out of it under Dyche also IMO

I "think" Leeds will get another six points, their last two games are what they will look at, anything else will be a bonus to them, that will give them forty points, as for us we are on twenty nine with a better goal difference,I am looking at one point tomorrow, a point at Leicester, three points against Brentford, three at Watford, three against Palace and none at Arsenal, that would give us forty no margin for error and that's me with my Evertonian optimist head on, here's hoping we achieve that tally and Leeds glean a maximum of six points from their last games, no margin for error now though.

Just saw they have Brighton at home that's no gimmie, Brighton have been very good away from home. Issue is they will have their flip flops on.

I still blame the cart who spray painted “Lampard in” at Goodison.

? to blame for his appointment. Media driven knee jerk reaction from Moshiri after the protests.

Moshiri’s answer: I gave you what the fans wanted.
The Super Frankies have condemned us to a calamity of epic proportion. I can't believe we haven't pulled the trigger now being in the bottom 3 and adrift. Duncan would have had a chance, now we are toast.

Can a manager sack the entire squad off though? Three have had a go this season

I still can't believe that Godfrey error. No system can stop a shanked clearance
The error didn't condemn us to defeat. The Super Frankie subbed off Gordon who was having a barnstormer and surrendered the initiative. Just like he did on Sunday moved Gordon and then the threat diminished completely. Management strategies have been responsible for these failures.

Since you said this.

I look forward to bumping my post next month once the super Frankie's have relegated us

Duncan is our best shot. Look at Burnley. Needs to happen asap though.

We havent played, yet a few days ago Duncan could save us, now he cant, I mean?
