Dom had the man on the sideline with no space then pulled out of a tackle and let him run by. Then Kenny and Gordon ran over to try and help and both got skinned by the one move. It was a complete comedy of errors. You would need 15 men to keep your shape with all that going on

The lad played a ball between Keane, Holgate, and Godfrey too which he had no right to get through.

Gone now anyway. It's always been a catalogue of failures lining up in one season to get us dropped.

Each week gets closer to pulling the life support ever since that game for me

2-1 up and we just needed to see it out for a win or draw...he let the team get forward for a 3rd.

I think that was the (lack of) decision that got us here tonight.
We did create a clear chance at 2-1 which Richarlison made an absolute hash of. Good teams go and put teams away. We had such an easy chance to do it but the forward let us down.

Nevertheless, we should have been protecting what we had. No club in our position should be chasing 3 or 4 goals when we have a 2-1 advantage well into the second half.

Anyone blaming Lampard is letting the club and the players off the hook.

There’s been a few consistent factors in our years of failure and humiliation now, and the manager position hasn’t been one of them.
I think the blame is that he's failed to recognise that the only shot we had with this team was to make ourselves tough to beat and take any chance that came our way. We had easy enough games to make that policy pay off.

It's a pity we wont get top see what he could have done from the start of the season with zero pressure.

There is many things we could use , keane messing up v city for their goal, the none pen, the none pen last week, the burnley game, other errors, we could go on, but all comes down to us
The DCL penalty v Brighton was a killer, we could of hot back into that game in the first half, there's loads of them, loads

Everyone is to blame but I am not sure Lamps is anywhere in the top three I put the board/owner/dofs/Benitez/players above him.. Maybe he was the wrong choice in a relegation battle but looking at our squad I am dubious many managers would get a tune out of it. Maybe organise it to pick up a few more results but the root is how it's been constructed and the catastrophic decisions at board level. It has so many issues especially when you take out the creativity(Digne, Sig, James) and key players like DCL and Mina for long periods.

honestly, he has had a fair crack of the whip. no new manager bounce, throwing the players under the bus (for good reason).

so much want to be behind him but his record speaks for itself.

a disaster of an appointment.

i'm in meltdown.
