I'm a Lampard skeptic. I make no bones about it. His lack of a record, his name recognition helping him jump the queue, etc. But I did say yesterday that he had got to get the team up for today - and he did that. He is getting the home results. Credit where it's due, the team is playing for him. Is he the long-term solution? I have serious doubts, but I really hope we get to find out because if he can somehow keep us up he will have earned the right to prove some of us wrong. I'd never be happier to be more wrong. Well done, Frank. Now follow it up and make some of us look very foolish indeed. Please.

He's got it pretty much spot on tactically for the last 4-5 weeks now. Mistakes cost us v Burnley and West Ham that had nothing to do with tactics. Only set up I think he didn't get right was Leicester but even so with a bad performance Everton created enough to win that game and should have done really.

The past few games its showing a slow mentality shift, in both players and fan alike. It's taken a while for Lampard to instill a level of fight but its clearly there. If only he'd inherited the team earlier then what he did, he's literally had to rebuild a team in freefall.

Either way, won't be easy but we've got this
