So we go to win now when we replace Lampard with the mystical Next Big Thing™, which will definitely win us the league within the span of less than a month and is already lined up to join, right?

So who is it, in your opinion?
Oh no that's not the plan. I'd like us to go from win never mode into we're still never winning anything because City and Chelsea have untold billions but at least we'll have fun watching the team play mode.

So, you've evaded the question again, very davek of you, admirable.

Who is it, who do you suggest we hire when we, as a thank you for (potentially) saving us, apparently fire Lampard without giving him a chance to play his own way?

I've said a couple of times I've not actually looked into it at all.

He's had a chance btw, I said it when Dyche got fired, you never have to do this.

you never me gave a name for manager and i'm not talking about next season. the smooth offensive manager we should of gone for instead of Frank in January

but who would of done better and been more effective in employing a more aesthetically pleasing philosophy that was available?
It isn't about aesthetics.

Again look at Conte, very ugly football, but very effective football. They beat the crap out of teams with 35% possession. I'm fine with us doing that too. This isn't the same.

So now it's acceptable to have low possession?

Lampard tried to play a more free-flowing football. We were struggling. He changed it to a more pragmatic, 'ugly' style, and we have won 2, and drawn one of the last 4. But that's not what you want either.

i don't even think Conte's football is ugly but i get what you're saying. in retrospect can you think of an alternative who would of been more effective with our dregs?

It's about chances, create more, concede less, create more high quality ones, concede less. You can do this in many ways, Lampard has yet to find one.
