Its a rollercoaster and if we had kept Benitez or hired Allardyce and stayed up already (no chance) there is absolutely no way we would have had this much positivity for the short-med-long term.

Once were safe the excitement for the summer will be on another level.

Only negative was I thought Gordon should have come off earlier as he was blowing. Could have caused us an issue

I must admit after the Burnley game I thought Lampard was lost and out of his depth, I won’t lie I was even hoping he would be gone and replaced by someone like Big Sam to try and dig us out of the mess we were in (that’s how desperate I was feeling) .But I’m so glad things have improved for him, we are not out of the woods yet but he has done amazing lately I just hope the job can be finished ASAP so we can start thinking about next season.

We lost 2 subs with Mykolenko and Mina.

So the 3rd to leave had to be either Gordon or Gray and I'd say Gordon offers more defensively even if he is goosed

Without these levels of total and utter posting ineptitude fires perhaps wouldnt have been stoked against that dreadfully incompetent manager.

I hope our 'fingering' will soon change to 'head patting' as Lampard takes us forward.

On a side note, I dont think weve seen scenes like these from the fanbase since perhaps under Joe Royle. Lampard has united us behind the squad.

I've never panicked. I would have had Frank in the summer and said as much then as well.

It's nice to want to watch us play again. He has done that.
