Bad consciences here.

Dave, only a few weeks ago you were suggesting we should replace Lampard after the United game. So I don't think you can really lecture others.

Evertonians are fully behind Lampard and want him to get the time he needs, regardless of how we finish the season. No Evertonian wants to sack Lampard and no Evertonian supported the appointment of Benitez.

Hopefully when this season is all confirmed and we have stayed up.
Do you reckon Lampard will be backed financially in the transfer market?
And I mean with some serious money as we do need it
FFP still going to be an issue I imagine. If we sell some of our more valuable players, of which there are about 3, then I can see that money being reinvested but would be surprised if we had much more to play with alongside it.

We’re probably going to need to bring a few youth players into the squad for next season because with the amount out of contract or likely to leave we’d need to sign a shed load of players!

Were within the limits and alot of payments for fees/wages will be out the door with the out of contract players.

Yet I think if we stick to just spending what we sell for this AND next year we'll have cleared the 3 year cycle.

Then we can go big the following season.

So if we build a squad of young players over the next 2 years we can add in the experienced quality to take us further in year 3.

Right, so you've openly admitted that we would have already been relegated under Benitez, yet us who wanted him gone are the saboteurs and are to blame for the predicament we find ourselves in? Not the 'fans' like yourself who backed him?

If he was gone 3 games before he was, we'd be safe by now. If he was never employed who knows where we'd be.

As soon as we lost against Watford the sabotage began. Nine games into the season. There were legions of people just waiting for the green light to get Benitez out and they never let up until he was gone and we were in a relegation fight.
