It’s very very clear we can’t break down teams who don’t attack us. That’s been highlighted again tonight. He should have thrown the kitchen sink at them the last 20 minutes they had absolutely no threat at all

The key thing you've pointed out is they weren't attacking us. It was screaming out to take off one of the centre halves and put someone else further forward.

I didnt think so, personally I saw Iwobi shifted higher up the pitch the 2nd half, now granted on reflection I didnt see Coleman move forward, so yeah, but I certainly felt Iwobi played more advanced 2nd half.

Not sure.

Iwobi managed to get forward a bit more second half but wouldn't say Iwobi was right wing so where was he playing if not wing back?

We’ve hardly got an abundance of quality on the bench but staggered it took him so long to change things. Interesting to see what he does Sunday because I’m not sure some of those players have the energy needed for another 90 on Sunday.

I’m really annoyed after that game but some takeaways on the gaffer

4 points from 3 games is achievable.
We’re in bother for next season unless we add pace.
He must not rate dele Ali whatsoever.
It’s one extreme or another with him, wide open or totally negative. He needs to work on the game management and accept when things aren’t working.
Please play Richi out wide and dcl up top

We could've been on the verge of sorting it all out and putting this rotten season to bed. To play against such a poor side and settle for a point was painful. Not the worst 90 minutes I've watched with Everton but up there with the most frustrating.
I don’t think we were bad so much as we really needed to take these points and we didn’t. It was just a nothing game and the lack of urgency was noticeable.

It’s fair to blame the finishing, but Watford didn’t even come out to play in the 2nd half. We had to apply more pressure. Frank has gotta read the room

He's backed himself into a difficult situation imo. Tonight was the game to change the approach in given how much Watford were there for the taking. He'll be tempted to mix it up on Sunday now but trying to play more attacking football for the first time in weeks against a decent Brentford side could easily backfire.

I didnt feel he got back much, hence me probably wrongly thinking he had moved.

On reflection, I was wrong, what I thought was a positional change, was simply Iwobi just attacking more 2nd half.

He is mate but we had him in a back 3 today? Iwobi wing back?

Just baffled me.

He should have done that like at Spurs, Newcastle etc.

But Watford?!
I'm still trying to calm down after that. It could have lifted a huge weight off all our shoulders if he approached that differently. What on earth was he thinking wasting a game like that
