Leeds have six points to play for against mediocre opposition. We are just 2 points ahead of them.
Yeah but they have 2 players out on red cards, and no momentum or self-belief, a win and a draw and we're sorted if they win both game, there's a reason they have such bad goal difference.

He's definitely learnt some harsh lessons since arriving here.

I didn't hold out much hope for him lasting beyond the summer, but he seems to be growing into the job now.

He teetered for a bit. I thought hed lost his head around the Spurs/Palace game. He deserves some credit for at least making us hard to beat. We have conceded 11 in 10 since that Spurs game in the league, having had to play Liverpool, Leicester x 2, Chelsea, United etc.

If we can concede 2 from our final 3 games, I think we stay up comfortably.

It beats me on why some posters on here seem to revel in the worst case scenario, hence think we'll still favourites to go down.
When we dropped into the bottom 3 We responded in the best way possible and pulled Leeds into the mire. Now it's tgem on the death spiral and I'll be surprised if they get another point. Good as gone.

Chance to really turn the screw and actually attack a game against dire opposition and a chance missed.

Worried he will fall into the same trap Carlo did and let this team become negative (the easiest way to play but rubbish against 13 teams in the league). Will make the Brentford and Palace games much harder.

I don’t think it’s a trap, I think it’s more knowing the limitations of the team.

They’re crap attacking and awful defensively, if not camped on their own box.

It’s no surprise we’ve picked 11 from 18 by doing this

We played some of the best attacking football i've seen at everton in the first 10 games of last season and then against the top teams got into the rut of sitting back and grinding results (easiest way to play against the top teams). Never managed to get out of it and I hope it doesn't happen to Lampard.

Seriously, have some of you forgot how bad we have been with these players? It doesn’t matter we were playing already relegated Watford ffs.

Could frank have set us up slightly more attacking and rotated a little more to rest legs - of course he could, and I felt the subs were too late, so frustrating for us, but understandable. We created plenty of chances though, and should have scored at least one - again that not Lampards fault.

Do I blame him for not trusting a defence with Keane, holgate and Coleman at its heart, and needing to play quite deep with two holders just to provide some protection - of course I don’t as they have already blown multiple leads or gave away soft goals and chances in multiple matches.

Frank displays the pragmatism we’ve been calling for and loads turn on him, honestly we’re a nuts set of fans.

If yerry was fit I think he goes after this more tonight, with a 433 maybe, but I can’t have a go at him for him being defensive - these players have shat the bed too many times, and I can’t wait until most of them are away from the club.

Two big home games now - I trust frank to get it right for them.

Too conservative. I get that he got destroyed both on the pitch and by the public for trying to get in the front foot agains Spurs. I get that it took a huge adjustment to his methods to play pragmatically to survive.

Yes, playing it safe and getting a point is not a bad thing because Leeds have a maximum 6 pts available, don’t seem like good value to get even 3, and we are + 2 with 9 points possible and an insurmountable GD lead. If we get even 1 more point Leeds have to get 4, and if we get just 2/9 then Leeds need to win both games. But if we had won tonight Leeds would have been dead. With Watford’s utter lack of attacking quality we could have played a back 5 and put another body forward without much risk. Like 600 people said here tonight:

Your missing the point. If this was Watfords first team then fine I would accept what your saying. But it wasn't. It was a bunch of youth players and rejects from their side mixed together to make up the numbers. Quality wise an at best lower Championship level team.

It was a much better opportunity than trying to get 3 points against a Premier League quality Brentford who are better than us.
