Anyone got a summary of what he said after the game yesterday?
Sack the board
Without getting into if he's any good or not, I suspect the reason we played him last season was because we'd sold Digne and had no other specialist left fullback.Initially it was a feel good story. Gave the club the opportunity to appear as it wants.
He’s absolute muck. He can’t attack, he’s an average defender. He wouldn’t look out of place in league one/two. He’s not even championship standard going forward.
The Athletic is Everton Pravda. I dumped my subscription after a few months of Paddy Boyland's ingratiating hagiographies. A waste of money. The place where real change is needed is in the ownership / executive board of the club. I like Frank and I'd like it to work for him but ultimately its a results business and the board are big on self preservation. The big worry is who comes in. If KT has a say then what odds we end up with Nuno.
We have a mediocre squad. We change managers we'll still have a mediocre squad. We have improved defence and midfield this season but that front 3 yesterday is not going to keep us in the league, in fact its hard to think of a less inspiring front 3 in the league. Gordon should be an option from the bench, McNeil offers next to nothing, and Maupay is a non-scoring second striker.

Aside Carlo's amazing first half of the 2020-21 season where we had James, Siggi, and Digne providing and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the best form of his life the general trend has been downward. Just boils my blood when we get messages from DBB grinning about positive changes and puff pieces in the Athletic about how good a job KT is doing as if all the problems of the last 6 years were just about not having the right DOF in place.
Make no mistake we will be down without a striker no matter who is in the dugout.
"We performed well in parts, but we didn't have the quality where it counted ultimately.Anyone got a summary of what he said after the game yesterday?
Have to feel for Lampard in some respect.
All the quality we had has been sold. The biggest issue has been the appointment for that fat Spanish chunt. He was allowed to get rid of James and then Digne. That coupled with Sigurdson, we have little to no quality in being able to produce goals.
Then they sell Richarlison from beneath him, what’s he meant to do? Let’s have it right, Grey cost 1.5m because he’s dogmuck. Gordon is absolutely terrible, lads stalling on a 100k a week contract but can’t even finish a 1on1, where it’s harder to miss than score.
McNeil & Maupay is on KT. He’s responsible for signing off on players, McNeill is honestly one of the most pointless wide players I’ve ever seen. He can’t beat a man.
I like Lampard, but unfortunately it’s getting to that time.
The players that will be bought this Jan, to attempt to save this car crash, need to be players that can be used weather Lampard is in charge or not.
Otherwise we get dogmuck like Mykolenko. If he wasn’t Ukrainian he wouldn’t be playing, and as much as I don’t like Duncan Ferguson, if his comments on that train about Myko are true, well at least he had him figured out.
What forwards do Bournemouth have? The World Cup break seems to have clouded people’s memories, but incase you’ve forgotten we got battered by bloody Bournemouth twice in a week shipping 7 goals in the process. He should have been out there and then. The lengths some go to to defend this clown is incredible just because he “gets us”. This “he gets us” guff gets right on my tits.I do feel for him a little tbh. When the fume and mist settles those points you make are very valid. Without repeating it as much. We sold a striker who lead the line for Brazil in the world cup. And replaced him with someone who isn't even a striker as such.
The club has failed to recruit forwards for a couple of years now. Hey guess what...we are struggling to score goals now. Who'd have guessed that.
Replace lampard. Bring in a new manager. Dont address the forward line issue and nothing will change.
I like Frank he speaks well. I said he gets a free pass for me as long as we stay up. However, 3 wins in 16 is too much to take. Signing poo like McNeil and Maupay is too much to take too. 12 goals in 16 I simply don’t know where are the goals coming from in order to save us from relegation. We always play crap and sometimes were behind in 40s50s mins but he waited waited waited and made awful subs with 10 mins to go.For people to think that changing a hopeless manager with a decent one doesnt work just look at M'Boro with Carrick and the Spanish chap at WBA. There are many more
Look at Notts Forest last year from rock bottom to Premier league
Lampard is getting the benefit of the doubt and he is playing with a side with several new players which he accepted
No more excuses.
Some guys are obsessed with him
At this rate we are surely in trouble and no Pickford or Goodison crowd will save us this year
