2022/23 Frank Lampard

For me the blinding obvious tactic was Godfrey on the left to help against Traore and low and behold, attack down the left and goal.

The cause of their goal was more worrying than who was Left back....it was our lack of movement and options up front....we had the ball (with no pressure from wolves) for a minute, and our defenders kept passing it sideways and back....there was no one out wide trying to show, there was no target man upfront, or attacking Midfielder trying to make a run....zero options, zero ideas....

then the crowd gets annoyed, we rush a long ball pass, lose possession, and they sucker punch us

What forwards do Bournemouth have? The World Cup break seems to have clouded people’s memories, but incase you’ve forgotten we got battered by bloody Bournemouth twice in a week shipping 7 goals in the process. He should have been out there and then. The lengths some go to to defend this clown is incredible just because he “gets us”. This “he gets us” guff gets right on my tits.

Further answer to that question. I just looked.
Bournemouth have 6 strikers on their books.
I looked at Evertons after. . We had 2. One with a red cross symbol next to his name. The other neal maupay.

Richarlison was sold but the money was reinvested. It was Lampard and Thelwell that decided to spend the money on championship standard cack like McNeil, Garner and Maupay. That's what is really gonna take us down.

I think when we lose at City and sit in the relegation zone that will focus a few minds..... Should have gone after Bournemouth, didn`t, should go now but our dithering board will not....

Absolute shambles, I`ve not seen 3 teams worse than us this season, IF the manager isn`t replaced we are as good as gone...

Yes the manager does make that much difference, we literally picks the team, individuals responsibilities in that team, the style, the defensive shape and attacking patterns.... Plus much much more, just look at Villa and how they have picked up with a good manager.

I remember Carlo going in to games with no Richy or DCL and having a front two of Siggurdsson and James.....

For losing so heavily twice to Bournemouth, for losing yesterday and for 3 wins in 16, I can’t back him any longer.

He did nothing to change things up yesterday until 10 mins from the end. Deliberately leaving a young lad full of goals on the bench when he already knows his forwards couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Really wanted him to be good and thought he could offer some fresh hope and lift the place. But right now he’s looking no better and on par with Benitez for morale.

TBH, having thought about this a bit longer since yesterday, I think he needs to go.

He's nowhere near the main culprit here, but I dont think he's the one to hand us a chance to remain in the PL.

With a heavy heart I have to say - just for the slim possibility that it has some sort of effect - we have to let Frank go.

He did a job last season, but this season looks way beyond him. The form book doesn't lie and neither does the table.

Who comes in now to save us I have no idea. That manager isn't apparant to me.
