2022/23 Frank Lampard

Roughly speaking he’s probably our best chance, but he took Burnley down last season so I don’t know.
In fairness he turned Burnley into a consistent PL side and got them to Europe even with no money, the wheels had to come off at some point. I’m hoping he’s like Howe who looks even better with Newcastle than he did with a very poor Bournemouth side.

Can't see a way back here
I almost think he was hoping to get sacked over the weeks, getting later to P/C and more, not his fault the way these players play as is up them once they cross the line no matter what they are told, but Lampard said last season we did not play the way he wanted us to, and this season would be different, it has been different as we are worst, bar 1st 10mins of the Brighton game we have been nothing and can hardly score

That is the most annoying thing for me. We had a 6 week break and it was obvious what was coming and in true Everton board style they waited so the impact would be far more damaging. They wont have done any leg work for a replacement whatsoever. They all need to be gone as well as Frank.
A new manager doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the problems at this club.
He deserves to go tonight, and probably hasn’t done enough to warrant keeping him on this long tbh.

But I honestly reckon whoever we bring in next is going to have the same problems, we’ll go through this cycle of sacking managers every 6-12 months while continuing to make the same mistakes in the boardroom and recruitment departments.
