Third from bottom by one goal. Two points off 13th. As bad as that is it couldve been alot worse.
Cheered me up seeing it like that. But the psychological pressure on that gang of fannies is much higher when the table looks as it does. I’d say it might finally wake them up, but they are much more likely to crumble. Still a couple more places to drop into.

Better team at the moment but not a bigger club. Think of what he’d be thought of if he made Everton into something, would be idolised. Leading us into the new ground in a few years as well would be another draw.

Brentford are sort of a provincial club who are currently at their ceiling, Everton albeit are garbage at the moment, have a larger ceiling.
We have a much lower floor than that Brentford side as well.

We were a big club but were are now a terrible football team. An absolute irrelevance in the modern game. A club stuck in the past.

I got laughed out of the building for suggesting Hasenhuttl last night so let me try again.

Would Thomas Frank be someone that all the fans could get behind? Think he’d be a really solid option. A lot better than some of the other names mentioned.

Thomas Frank is a good manager, the thing is he is at Brentford who do things properly regarding player recruitment, spending cash etc so why would he leave them to come to a basket case of a club like us.

The biggest issue here is no worthwhile manager will come without some money to strengthen. This is why franks still here because there isn’t any ! If they’re going to sack him they need to find money from somewhere quickly and get some players in and a manager who can get some football out of the rest of the clowns who play every week … if the board and Moshri keep burying there heads in the sand until the end of the window and hope for some loans which I suspect is the plan we’re doomed !

In pure football terms i think he is worse than Benitez

We’ve taken a look at how Lampard’s Everton in 2022-23 so far compare to Benitez’s Everton at the same stage last season.

2022-23 (Lampard)

Games Played: 18
Wins: 3
Draws: 6
Losses: 9

Points: 15

Goals Scored: 14
Goals Conceded: 24

Expected Goals: 18.5
Expected Goals Against:
30.1

Carabao Cup Performance: Third Round (beat Fleetwood 1-0, lost 4-1 to Bournemouth)

2021-22 (Benitez)

Games Played: 18
Wins: 5
Draws: 4
Losses: 9

Points: 18

Goals Scored: 23
Goals Conceded: 32

Expected Goals: 24.4
Expected Goals Against:
29.6

Carabao Cup Performance: Third Round (beat Huddersfield 2-1, lost on penalties to QPR)

FA Cup Performance: Third Round – Beat Hull City 3-2 (AET), sacked before following round

Why is he still here, At least if we try a new manager I’ll feel a bit more optimistic that we might have a chance, leave him in charge I think we are doomed this time.

I could forgive Frank a lot but his tactics and in game management is so poor. Why didn't he change it at half time last night? It seems unless his tactics and formation work from the start he can do nothing it's a sign of inexperience and being out of his depth. Where are the subs? He seems caught in the headlights and confused what to do also see his changing of formations every week. We stumble on something at City and he changes it again. Why?!Sadly we backed the wrong manager to give time he has to go or we go down.
