Why let him have one more game, it looks the sort of game we might be humiliated. obviously if we did the impossible and got a win that would be great, but it gives Frank longer and now I just don’t think he’s good enough to save us. That’s why I’d have got it done before fridays game.

All of those give us nothing to potentially look forward to.

Hopefully none of them, but knowing our luck that'd mean it's Unsworth lol
TBH there’s not a manager out there that fills me with much confidence that they can get this lot playing, I’d just give Dyche a go I think he would make us more solid, wouldn’t be pretty football but I’m past caring as long as we can scrap and get points.

Thing is he's not a long term manager, or at least shouldn't be - he'd be good for this season, maybe next? But what next? No actual experience of successful managing, just relegation battling. Moyes managed to jump forward to stability, but Dyche is... well, Dyche.

Well perhaps that is the way it has to be, have someone like Dyche that could hopefully keep us up this season and next spending little so we can get our FFP issues back in order then decide. Who knows Dyche could have the Howe affect for us, sometimes the unlikely does just click, but then I maybe just clutching at straws ?

Can only hang on to the hope that they were sorting out the financials, and asking Baines today and it will be announced first thing tomorrow. Thought of him butchering another team selection is frightening

Pft, we all are with any guess at this point - it's more or less wishful thinking. In reality no guarantee he keeps us up either, as is for anyone really. I'd say 50/50 between any name mentioned and Lamps himself, that's how dire this is.

WTF is this obsession by some fans with Ferguson? lol

Not just you, but seen so many posts about bringing him back.

He’s gone, why can’t some just move forward? It’s always about sentiment with half our fanbase.
I was just putting the question out there, I just have the feeling he would be on Rooneys coaching staff. But for me I’d only like to see him come back if the owners hired him as the manager, no behind the scenes stuff, but he does need to do a job elsewhere before he should be even considered and that’s what I thought he left to do. I personally would have give him a run instead of hiring Frank, but that time has gone not and situations have changed as he’s not even at the club now and Frank did save us so that part did work out ok. But now we are back to where we were last year, no one who can really take a caretaker role (Ferguson would have been the one if he was still here) also no Richarliso, much harder this time.

TBH I think a lot wouldn’t even have a problem with Big Sam coming back, it’s got that bad ?

I wouldn't. The situation was almost as bad as this before he came. Remember getting pasted 4-1 at Soton and thought "that's it, we're done". Three days later, West Ham dominate the ball, miss a pen and we don't play great, but we somehow win 4-0. Three days later, we coast 2-0 vs Hudds and then get a point at Anfield despite having about 8% possession.

Allardyce wasn't the manager for the West Ham game. He was up in the stands half asleep enjoying his executive box nibbles.
