Richarlison was available for 11 of those 18 games whilst Calvert-Lewin played in just 4 of his opening 18 league games.

Richarlison was a huge loss this year for Lampard but Benitez had to field teams like this at times:

Both have failed as Everton managers - Lampard got to bring in 11 players and couldn't improve results.
I wish we had townsends final ball right now. And I never thought I’d be saying that.

If we had any sort of attack this season - and given the general performance of the defence - we'd have been much higher in the table.

Benitez had use of an attack a lot more than Lamaprd had access to...he also had Townsend to chip in too.

When he came in, his intelligence and honesty shone through and it was genuinely refreshing to hear him speak.

He's now disappearing up his own backside a little further with every utterance. He just doesn't know what to do anymore, he's completely ran out of ideas.

The couple of barbs he's directed at the fans have been sad to see as well. I've never seen unity between a fan base and a manager, ever, that came close to the scenes on the Goodison pitch at the end of last season. That was supposed to be a phoenix rising out of the ashes moment, but our players have quickly reverted to type and Frank has got absolutely no solutions.

We were with him completely, but what he has helped serve up this season is not acceptable and the paying Goodison faithful are well within their rights to let him and the players know.

He also had Jonjoe Kenny at right-back and Michael Keane and Holgate as CB's. I'm sure with a better defence he'd have probably done much better too.

Benitez failed here but he is a far superior manager than Lampard and it's not even close.

What barbs has he lobbed out?

He could have done what Lampard did and sorted the defence out for no fees.

I was supportive of Benitez, but the level of difficulty as Everton manager got worse this season from the one he had to endure.

That horse has bolted.

That was my reason for sticking with Lampard: that he's proven he can keep it tight and grind out results. But he's thrown that game plan in the bin time and time again to be a bit nore open in terms of formation and we got burned by it...and Frank will keep on doing that.

That's no good for us. We'd do better getting Dyche in and have him set up with two banks of four and two forwards...by-pass the midfield and get Wood in from Newcastle as the spearhead....and I'm no fan of his, btw.
I also kept faith with Frank but as you say he keeps making the same mistakes.

We are not an experimental lab for Frank and his cockney chums to learn their trade.

I don’t want to keep going on this manager merry-go-round but if we stick with him then he will take us down. Who are what comes next fills me with dread.

I dont think he wants to be here mate. He's just waiting for the crackpots who are "running" the club to act and do their job and relieve him of his post.

Amazingly we are 5 points(FIVE) worse off than at the same stage after 18 matches last season, currently on 15 points compared to last seasons 20 points after 18 matches, there is no way we are going to get out of this with the current players & manager. What happens to the stadium if we do go down????

We sell the naming rights to Aldi instead of Waitrose.

Yes he should have done that weeks ago, he's been too stubborn. My issue is I don't trust his in game decisions seems to me if it goes wrong he doesn't change it enough to rescue anything the game is over. That's poor management.
I just don’t think tactically he’s got it in him. Zero in-game management capability.

Really annoys me as I so wanted him to be the one.

U mad?

FA Cup tomorrow and I want to bloody win something so all out attack (with a few kids of course) but you don't "rest' anyone fkr tomorrow. They're not good enough to be "rested".

He tried that in the Cup against Bournemouth which started all this bloody mess
Against Utd away? I don’t think it’ll happen under FL. I am being realistic.
