You didnt. Your literal words were ‘3/5 at the back has failed’ as well as the other words I wrote earlier.

*sigh*
Yes, that was posted on August 20th - two games and two defeats into the season when we'd gone with 5 at the back.

Unreal.

Stubbs has it spot on this morning on Talksport, saying sacking Lampard changes nothing.

The board need to go simple as that, as new man will come in 3 weeks later and be with the same squad and same board.

To me we have a better chance staying up spending what money we have backing Lampard, rather than going through the same £%#/ every 12 months

Making things contingent on a largely irrelevant match we’d probably lose at the best of times is so typical of our dithering approach, and it’s just leaving Lampard out to dry. Regardless of whether you’re Lampard in or out (and I’m torn) he’s a decent chap unlike the last guy and deserves to be given a bit of respect, whether that’s ending things swiftly or giving him the assurance of more time.

tbf mate we'd be 2 points worse off. I like Gray, he's the best of a massively bad bunch of wingers we currently have. His goals have got us draws, same as Gordon's tbf. What we need is match winning goals, like Maupays against West Ham.

Do you remember when Royle came in, I think Rideout scored 11-12 goals that season, but about 8 of them were match winning goals.

Kevin Campbell was the same, scored match winning goals.
I do. Kept us up and won us the cup.

Does baines have badges for caretaker manager?
This should suffice ;)

And there it is. The club have their way out of spending money in January. Sack Lampard tonight, mess around for a few weeks and run down the window looking for a manager who will be offered some reject Kia clients at the end of the window.

And instead of pushing for the board to spend money and get some decent players in you are all here enabling it baying for the blood of a manager who has been well and truly stitched up by the club...

The club have accepted relegation.

Hope your take is wrong mate but scary thought that if true.

Who’s caretaker if he goes?
It would almost definitely be Baines, wouldn't it?? If Frank goes you'd assume Clement does too, that leaves Baines the obvious, immediate and easy temporary choice just like Dunc and Unsworth before him. Unless his band is on tour or something, the probably Franny Jeffers or Doris the tea lady.

Needs to go after tonight. Regardless of the result. The tactics are baffling. Iv no idea what his coaching staff are trying to implement with the players at Finch Farm. Do they all just gather round in a circle whilst Ashley Cole talks about Cheryl?
TBF I'd sign an 8 year deal here just to see the photos he must have of her on his phone - I mean, er, I'd sign strictly for sporting reasons of course.
