It's 100% his own doing. Not done himself any favours and his inexperience shines through.

His zero in game management against Wolves could've got us a point. Got it spot on against City. Could've played the same system against a very good Brighton side and got another point at least. That's 3 points from 9 and would have us on 18 points, 12/13th in the table, pressure off for Southampton...
