I don't think the players even really let him down. No one played terribly. They just aren't put together well enough to best a team like that. With competent management they might have won that tonight. It wasn't that far-fetched.

It all rests on the Southampton game.

I do not think a draw saves him.

Even a terrible performance but a 1-0 win is more important.

HAS to win. No excuses.
We deserve everything that inevitably comes to us if he is still in charge for Southampton with "everything resting" on it. The man has demonstrably failed. He has a 52% LOSS record. Honestly, those supporting him are like punters in the bookies on a massive losing streak still insisting on gambling the children's allowance on the rank outsider in the 4.15 at Uttoxeter.

i don’t think it works that way mate lol

I think the formation suits us playing top teams, as we go out looking for a point or a draw…. It works in them games

Games against the poorer teams, I just get a bit scared we don’t win them games with that formation…..

Thing is why can’t we have that work rate and commitment playing 4-3-3
Because we are so good we only need to turn up when the big boys are in town, its that simple really.

Either they can't be arsed playing against the so called smaller teams, even though they are better than us... and / or we set up really badly against them too. I actually thing we have an attitude problem... it absolutely stinks.
