At this point you or I could do a better job.

Wee Davey or Dyche would be fine short term appointments considering our league position.

Going for a hipster attacking manager like the bloke at Celtic will probably finish us off as this group haven't the confidence to play open attacking fitba.
I get what your saying regarding Ange Postecoglou, but if you know his history he takes struggling clubs and turns them in to challengers. Obviously that is made easier in Scotland due to the size of Celtic in that league. Our fans just see the manager of Celtic playing attacking football in a farmers league, Celtic fans hold him in very high esteem, higher than Rodgers who did well when he moved south.

For me I`d like our manager to be from outside this Premier League scouting area, much like our players..... even though our best player recently is a player that was purchased outside of the PL. As a club it needs to start looking outside the PL for managers and players, I`m sure everyone that reads this will understand what I`m trying to say.

I don't agree, Dyche is rubbish and we don't have the fullbacks to play how he wants and Moyes has totally lost his way at the moment. Given the nature of our squad we need someone who can be tactically flexible/clever and make use of whats here. What we seriously don't need is a manager who sticks to one formation refusing to change it which is what has got him into trouble now. As for Postecoglu, tbh mate I don't think we really know, the more I see of Frank he is so out of his depth I don't think we really know what a half decent coach would do with the players.

“Wee Davey” has a better West Ham team than us, level on points with us.

Dyche managed to perform worse with his Burnley team last season than this current Everton team.

Neither of these managers seem like offering a quick fix based on their recent performances.

You would have said the same about Howe the season he took Bournemouth down. Klopp, Wenger & Benitez all have relegation on their CV's yet have won league titles.

Its this fan snobbery that will see us relegated. Get Dyche in on an 18 month deal, give him the opportunity to sort the squad oot and have him drag us into mid table until the stadium is built and FFP situation improved.

We need a quick fix that turns in to a long term project, no point bringing a long term manager in if he can`t get results immediately, that is what we are going through now....

EDIT: I was agreeing with you, look at how our fans reacted to Howe...

Lots of different football people who are fans without any agenda against Everton have said to me he is no use. Didn’t really want to hear it and said mainly it’s not his fault as we need players especially strikers . Game is up now and we need some drastic action . The more worrying part is how we fix it. The board are useless and all need to go and our “owner” I’m starting to believe was only really maybe doing what he was told by his “boss” . He clearly has no interest anymore and doesn’t even bother coming to any of the matches. There is a lot going on here behind the scenes that none of us are aware of and maybe our current situation will force somebody’s hand to do something drastic that will get us out of this horrible mess . We simply cannot allow this to continue in current mode and expect anything different .

Howe has been backed and brought some good players in.

Any manager is going to struggle with this squad, but going for 2 of the very few managers whose recent jobs had them underperforming this Everton team just feels like suicide.

And no, I don’t know who the answer would be.

When it comes to managers, does it matter if "they know the Premier League"?

Di Zerbi, Loptegui, Cooper, Ten Hag all doing OK and Jones is turning Southampton around, none of these had PL experience before this season.

I remember Ten Hag being a shout for us but it was trodden down because he was the manager of the biggest team in a farmers league, much like Postecoglou, how many would have him now?

If he was sacked which would be a shame but probably necessary I’d like to think Dyche could drag a few wins out of the team and at least go back to being competitive.
