2022/23 Frank Lampard

Stability is the right argument, if there’s evidence of tangible improvements.

I like Frank, I wanted Frank to be a success, he’s been given more than a fair chance, a change should have happened sooner, but with each day lost, our inevitable drop and likely existence grows.

The board need to make a change, if that means no or limit transfers, due to paying Frank off etc then so be it…

This man is taking us down. We have a crap squad but better than the results he has got.

It’s very, very simple - if we get a new manager we have a chance to stay up, if we keep Lampard we are absolutely finished in the top flight. It’s that simple.
Permanently finished, too.

I like the guy and I love how eloquently he has always spoken about our club and how passionate he seems about doing well for us…. But this current situation is too much for the guy.

Moshiri won’t bullet him as he (Moshiri) is directly blaming fans for previous sackings.

I see that the Times new sports reporter, Martin Samuel, is drawing a parallel with Boehly at Chelsea and Moshiri.
Ends his piece by saying that if Potter is sacked, it has to be Boehly’s decision alone and that “committees of 40,000 do not work”

I cant believe he gets the West Ham game.

Moshiri backed him for the S'ton and that WHU game in his TalkSport interview but gave a very broad hint that the failure to pick up a win against S'ton or WHU would see him gone.

Does this owner think we can delay any change like that in order to even have a glimmer of hope for survival?

He's not good enough, but he hasn't been given a fair chance, because he hasn't been backed.

That's not to say he shouldn't go, but this team is crap. I'm sick of saying it. We are one of the worst teams in the league, which is why we are where we are.

Everton go down baring a miracle worker.

This squad is one of the poorest in the league.

It’s almost reached the point now where anybody new coming in could barely do any worse, but were we to be relegated, I think the fans would accept that the new manager could hardly be blamed. However, as someone pointed out yesterday, we’re still at Xmas, fixtures wise, because of the WC break, so exactly half the season remains, but the upcoming fixture list is scary. Something radical is required, and NOW.
It currently looks bleak but that is just because of the results which are horrendous they truly are.We have been in worse positions than this, just last year we were 5 points from safety before we played Chelsea yet we still stayed up by 4 points.

We can get out of the mire there is no need for everyone to be defeatist.

It's not too late but we need a new manager immediately as every game he is in charge for makes the new man's job more difficult.

A new manager for the WHU game is a MUST if we're to have any chance of turning this around.
