Strong disagree here.

Lampard has not created this mess. He is a symptom of it, as are the dreadful players and a DoF who in my opinion is way out of his depth.

That's not to say he should stay.

He's 100% to blame mate.

Yes the board have dealt him and the previous manager before him a bad hand - but there is no coming back from this poor run of form.

He must be laughing his cock off earning £6m pa and having zero pressure from either those above him or in the stands.

Blokes untouchable it seems.

Well whats the lesser of two evils? Not being able to afford to pay him off or not being able to afford relegation and the potential costs of the new stadium?
The best we can attract is probably a dyche and he will struggle to keep this squad up. The squad needs 2 new decent attackers whoever the manager is. Can we afford to sack frank and buy 2 players, I’f the answer is no, then we have to keep him imo. 2 new forwards is more important

Maybe we don't have money to sack him + staff, but this squad isn't as bad as the position we're in.

Yes we need more attacking/creative players, but there's solid international players throughout the squad.

No idea who'd want to come but we've got to give ourselves some chance of staying up.

Anyone we go for is a gamble - Dyche, Celtic boss, Carrick, Frankfurt + Sociedad both doing great this season.

Think any of them would do better.
Disagree, the squad is as bad as the position it’s in. Coleman’s and Mykolenko are as poor as any fullbacks in the league. There are no goals in midfield, little creativity. Gray, McNeil, Gordon wouldn’t get close to starting for other teams in the league.

People need to stop kidding themselves, this is a bottom three squad. It was last season, it is even more so this season. The board have got us to this stage through years of mismanagement.

Their plan this season was to cross fingers and hope. It’s all on them.

No, I said backing him to the bitter end has caused this crisis.

I've argued many times that he is not the central reason for where we are.
They've not backed him though. They've kept him in place and offered no support by getting new players in that have been desperately needed.

This squad goes down.

You know when the fans rallied at the end of last season and it was great - and it was - but it still needed a quality player to score six goals in the last 10 games to keep us up.

We then sold that player and replaced him with utter dross for half of the money.

for one, he ain't earning £6m a year.

Two, he is absolutely not untouchable.

Three, he's trying his very best. He isn't good enough but unlike the ones above him is trying. What he's doing isn't working though and he needs to go.

He is not at all 100% to blame.

OUR SQUAD IS CRAP.

Yes. But not now. We need him to sdismniss Lampard and get a player or two in.

Surely you see that?

It staggers me that so many Evertonians have got this arse about face.
Moshiri should have zero to do with footballing matters, this is the entire issue.

I know they haven't. Though what money he did spend he spent badly.

But he showed he can get draws against decent teams away and at home. However, he wont be pragmatic enough.

3 wins in 20 games gets you the sack...and rightly so.

Last year you lampooned anyone going after Benitez while we were spiralling towards relegation and desperately needed players in the door, saying we needed to focus protests on the people running the club, what has brought about this full 180?

He has. He is an inept manager. Crap recuitment. Replace Richy with McNeil and Maupay plus the sicknote Garner. Being an reactive manager. He has no clue to setup a team to score. We are all over the place when we are behind. Don’t make subs when we were behind and crap. He has to go now. 3 wins in 19. Absolutely pathetic.

Its bad and I agree it's been stripped of most of the quality but its still better than one win in thirteen? Surely, I'd back any other manager in this league to have a better record with these players. We saw yesterday a competent coach gets to one nil and shuts up shop. Lamps leaves us wide open

If this is his best I would hate to see his worst!

Simple: we were better off this time last season than we are now. We were 6 points above the relegation zone.
