He's 100% to blame mate.

Yes the board have dealt him and the previous manager before him a bad hand - but there is no coming back from this poor run of form.

He must be laughing his cock off earning £6m pa and having zero pressure from either those above him or in the stands.

Blokes untouchable it seems.
So lampard is 100% to blame but in the next line you state the board has dealt him a bad hand.

I think we'll go down this season. The team is in free fall. But there are two ways to go down. Just take it and go down losing easily. Or go down fighting. I hope it's the latter.

I know they haven't. Though what money he did spend he spent badly.

But he showed he can get draws against decent teams away and at home. However, he wont be pragmatic enough.

3 wins in 20 games gets you the sack...and rightly so.
Our DoF is meant to be in charge of recruitment.

So it's the same joker we're supposed to trust with getting us a better manager.

Same joker who has spent 10 months to appoint a Head of Recruitment that they are promoting from within the club.

It's amateur throughout the entrie club and we deserve to go down.

Lampard thinks he is still good enough for Everton and that for me shows he is pathetic and delusional
He thinks he has a good track record, its so good that Chelsea won the Champions league after they got rid of him
He however admits he is not the best coach in the world. I think he should question whether he is the worst coach in the world. He loves Everton so why dosent he resign, I think he loves money more. He is the symptom and presently the cause of why we are getting relegated. If you dont try to fight and change him you are doomed. In this case getting rid is worthy the gamble and more than justified.

We were an absolute car crash and had won 1 in 14. We were only that far above the drop zone because of our good start, we were rock bottom of the form table by a mile. It was the same situation.
Except last year we had a player who could actually drag us through and he did.

We then sold him and that div DoF we had came up with McNeil and Maupay as his replacements, and the manager signed off on them (granted, he didn't get what he asked for and that's what he was presented with).

Not that you're doing this, but I'm sick of smart arses on social media and podcasts making out like Lampard is the entire issue. Yes, we should have more points, yes we shouldn't lose to Wolves and S'ton at home. But, we are absolutely tosh because we have absolutely tosh players, as well as a manager who unfortunately can't see the wood for the trees. But in all fairness, what option does he have to change it when it's all absolutely tosh.

...and if it had got as bad as it is now I'd have wanted him gone.

So, you see, there's no contradictions from me.

He's trying his very, very best. He's been given no help.

He needs to be put out of his misery but he isn't the end problem. The end problem is this squad is one of the poorest in the league.

You know when the fans rallied at the end of last season and it was great - and it was - but it still needed a quality player to score six goals in the last 10 games to keep us up.

We then sold that player and replaced him with utter dross for half of the money.
Agree. Not even hindsight what’s happening, posted plenty that we were headed in this direction during the summer. So did others. Entirely predictable. Was more hope than anything else that we wouldn’t be in this position again.

Couldn’t see anyone who’d regularly create chances or score goals, so it’s proved.

We’ve systematically stripped the players we relied on to create and score goals from the team. We’re left with the passengers who held onto their coattails and added the cheapest downgrades we could find.

The board have let this happen. Either they spend some money and bring in some serious upgrades capable of winning games or we’re going down, regardless of who the manager is.

Whilst it’s obvious he’s out of his depth now, can’t help feel he’s been left by himself to front up to everything at Everton

Where’s Denise, Bill, Thelwell? Not a word. Barely any of the players have fronted up.

Instead it’s Frank before and after every game answering every question on everything wrong at the club.

This is where I stand up for Lampard in terms of him saying 'realistically we knew we'd be in a fight'.

Honestly, if anyone looked at our squad on the 1st of September and thought anything but we'd be in a dogfight if it stayed the same, then they're utterly thick.

All of that is not to say we shouldn't bin him. His record is awful and we need a better manager to get out what more they can out of these players. But it won't solve much.
