That's weird, did Reina (the ex-liverpool goalie) go sometimes by Jose and sometimes by Pepe... Is that a common thing? Like John-Paul or something

Great postDefence is fine for our current stature, but they face constant bombardment from even our fellow relegation candidates.
Teams see out the first few minutes of pinball footy, let the game settle, then know we have no threat at all as an attacking force. Fullbacks and wingbacks can cheat 20 yards up the pitch, CM’s can creep close to and past strikers because even if they lose the ball, we’ll boot it out of play for a throw in. Wide players can hug the touchline to stretch our already not solid shape creating loads of space in the middle for the creator (which every team has except us) to pull the strings.
Our defence’s biggest issue isn’t lack of quality (though they are obv mid table at best), it’s that we offer almost no threat at all at the other end to relieve the pressure or at least ask opponents to leave some of their players in positions to recover the ball or stop counters. And in the current game, the best way to stop a counter from a mediocre team is a shirt pull or cynical trip. Counter attacking is the wrong style if you aren’t very slick, or at least very fast.
I 100% think these things are spoken about at FF. There are a few genuinely experienced heads in the coaching team. It’s been obvious for a while that some of the biggest holes in the squad are between the players ears. And also just beneath their penises.
He sat on his hands because our bench is absolutely garbage in terms of adding creativity or a goal threat.Gordon being a case in point - came on and didn’t want the ball. Who could he have brought on that the crowd wouldn’t rip him a new one for....Maupay, McNeill?I don't disagree long struggle to stay up whoever the manager is. We need a goal scorer as much as a new manager. I get he is trying things but he also keeps changing statistically from pressing to sit in, from passing style to direct and formation wise even when we got a good result with 532 he changed it to 433, the next week which has rarely worked this season, I'm convinced some players are confused. Also his in game management is chronic. Again yesterday Saints took the initiative second half by making changes early, he sat on his hands.
True but his tactics aren't eitherThe scary thing is, last season the players had stopped playing for Benitez.
I actually think they’re are still trying for Lampard - they’re just not very good.
True but you have to try something he's clueless when a team makes a switchHe sat on his hands because our bench is absolutely garbage in terms of adding creativity or a goal threat.Gordon being a case in point - came on and didn’t want the ball. Thelwell’s mate. As expected.Fella on talk sport said Nuno on a short-term deal... Oh dear if there's a scintilla of truth in it
Thelwell knows him. He will play Thelwells preferred formation. He will make us more difficult to break down and beat.Fella on talk sport said Nuno on a short-term deal... Oh dear if there's a scintilla of truth in it
I didn't hate the idea of Nuno when he was linked last time personally, just not sure he is up to this massive task currently hopefully soThelwell knows him. He will play Thelwells preferred formation. He will make us more difficult to break down and beat.
At this point, if it’s short term, it’s a roll of the dice.

Nuno has a presumably very nicely paid job in Saudi. I assume he's not walking away from that for short term deal.Fella on talk sport said Nuno on a short-term deal... Oh dear if there's a scintilla of truth in it
He pulls figures out of the air Dave ( like the increased costs of the stadium despite the statement by DBB that fixed costs had been secured) so it’s highly likely he’d just pull the next two games out too. The man is a buffoon and he’s totally butchered this club.No way this can go on. Either Lampard starts winning or he's sacked. There is no doubt about that.
As said: Moshiri mentioned the West Ham game - I'm pretty sure he didn't just pull that date out of the air.
