The board probably think the fans are all 100% behind Frank. This means they are probably terrified of sacking him as they think it will upset the fans further.

By loads do you mean once.

I mean that was the one Everton related one I could think of off the top of my head, but I’m sure if you could be arsed checking you’d find it happening more often than you think at other clubs.

Just checked, Hassenhuttl was sacked on a Monday just this season. There’s another one.

On about the players who are supposedly the quality spine that will keep us up haha.
As a spine we have the England goalkeeper, 2 CBs who have played for England and one who recently went to the World Cup. A Senegal international, a Belgium international and a Nigerian international.

Until the summer we had the Brazilian no.9.

That spine, with a decent striker added should be enough to keep us in the league.

You would hope a different manager would be able to get a different tune out of them.

Means absolutely nothing. Tarkowski last played for England 5 years ago. Senegal and Nigeria are crap. And we do not have the Brazilian number 9.

Even if we somehow manage to beat WHU, so what? We're not suddenly going to start winning enough matches to stay up. Madness. We've lost to probably the three worst (other) teams in the league in quick succession. The odd poor result can happen, I understand that. And maybe you draw a game you should win sometimes (like Man City against us). But three six pointers? Time for change
