Also, why does he insist on us passing out the back with players that can’t, or just don’t feel comfortable doing it?

Although a great player, he was box to box with an insane knack of scoring goals. He was hardly Pirlo on the ball himself.

There wasn’t a creative bone between him or Gerrard, which is why I think England struggled for years with them in midfield. You’d think he’d be more adaptable in his style, or at least understand that it doesn’t suit all players (especially us).

Means absolutely nothing. Tarkowski last played for England 5 years ago. Senegal and Nigeria are crap. And we do not have the Brazilian number 9.
Tarkowski was being talked up as a potential England pick for the recent World Cup.

Senegal won the AFCON in 2021 and got knocked out in the last 16 of the WC against a much fancied England team.

The point about Brazil's number 9 is that, with a better striker, we might have a better chance of staying in the league.

The spine, with a competent, fit striker, is good enough.

Got my views on finch farm waiting

I’ve been on the fence about Frank since we signed him, and more then on the fence about sacking him.

We have to get out this cycle.

However, after the weekend I can’t see how he keeps his job. Absolutely awful when you look at his statistics, but what’s worse is his game management, waits so long to make subs and changing tactically in the middle of that game for me was the wrong decision.

Sure he can’t stop individual errors like Gordon being an absolute idiot with that foul when the near record free kick taker is on the pitch.

He looks lost, sounds broken and is talking in riddles.

I like Frank, but I’ve said it too many times probably the right manager at the wrong time - he is not what we need.

If he isn’t removed early this week, it’s clear the board are sticking until it’s too late and they can pin the blame on Frank and his very nearly Mike Walker level of performance.

Wolves change their manager, buy some players - lost 2 in 6 in all comps (1 on pens)

Southampton - change manager. Just won 3 on the bounce in all comps.

Teams horrifically struggling...Everton, West Ham, Leicester. And Guess what?

Same managers. Zero transfers.

Weird innit

Tarkowski has been absolutely terrible for a few games if not longer now. Against Southampton it’s like we had a worse Michael Keane playing
