Obviously, losing at home to the bottom club (having been in the lead) and being in the relegation zone with only 15 points to show for the first half of the season wasn’t enough to see the current manager sacked.
The board/owner is clearly in agreement with the (reducing number of) fans pleading for Frank to be given more time.
What will it take to see a change?
A loss to West Ham.
0, 1, 2 points from the next 4/5 games?
It’s starting to look as if Frank will be our manager until HE resigns, which he shows no sign of doing.
Of course, the embarrassment and its impact on his longer-term management ambitions (if any) may eventually get too much for him but right now it looks as if it is a game of chicken between him and the board/owner with the fans/club caught in the middle.

Southampton have had a couple of good cup results, so that result was always on the cards. Getting spanked by Bournemouth was much worse in my book.

Maybe instead of the usual recruitment shambles they are working on his replacement for a smooth, efficient and painless transition and his sacking will be announced alongside his replacement.

Just kidding! Forward planning will never happen.

If Thelwell doesn’t already have the managerial targets ready (for the inevitable) he should go along with Lampard

Genuine disgrace that Lampard is still manager of this club, utter fraud

Neal Maupay has scored one goal in 13 matched and actually managed to run slower than any normal human in recorded history when through on goal against Wolves. If you're trying to make a point about the quality of strikers and Maupay is your positive control you may have to reconsider your argument.

And Richarlison has scored zero goals in the league.

Lost to both the bottom clubs who have come to Goodison of late. Wolves and southampton.
Every club down there must have Everton circled in the calender.

Said other day we have absolutely no other hand to play other than a new manager bounce. Which is desperate. but we are desperation town right now.

Should have gone by now.
