Just hope we are in the last few days of Lampard. A complete dud of a coach and only got the job because of his reputation as a player.
***only got the job cause fans protested against the appointment of Pereira and wanted Lampard.

Wouldn't really go along with this point. The media at the time were basically saying the board were deciding between Pereira and Lampard.
We needed someone who could come in and create some kind of unity, and who the players would immediately respect. Rightly or wrongly, at the time that was Lampard out of those two because he is instantly recognisable, and we stayed up. No disrespect to Vitor, but he had no credentials to manage Everton, and I do not believe he would have got the dressing room behind him.
Obviously there should have been more options on the table than those 2 choices. And obviously we need another change now, because Lampard is out of his depth. But I still firmly believe Lampard was the correct choice out of the 2 at the time.
Pereira would also have been a diabolical appointment, and we likely would have been sacking him right now and hiring Lampard. The way I see it - we've simply cut a year!Agreed, collectively fans made the decision of Lampard of Pereira. Which in reality is mind-boggling looking back now, we turned our noses up at an experienced manager who has won things in the past in favour of a Lampard gamble.
Hindsight though, eh?
It’s weird though isn’t it , maybe at that time with the fall out from the previous manager and the toxicity amongst fans because it was horrendous, he was just what we needed . I’m not saying I particularly wanted him , I didn’t , nor that pereria wouldn’t have been a better choice but we honestly don’t know how it’d have turned out with him at the helm however bad things are now .Agreed, collectively fans made the decision of Lampard of Pereira. Not necessarily, a well run football club with a broad player recruitment structure in place, with a clear plan flowing from the top down through the director of football, right down to the youth systems with regards to how we play, shouldn't be affected by a manager change...a player coming in tells me he’s not getting sacked
Means nothing, Ings has gone to West Ham if they lose Moyes will go. It’s Thelwell’s signing anyway nor Franks.a player coming in tells me he’s not getting sacked
Agreed. Lampard, Ferguson, Pereira was a shocking shortlist for a premier league clubI would totally disagree with this to be honest. Prior to last January, Vitor's previous 3 jobs had been in Turkey, in China, and in the German 3rd tier. He had no credentials whatsoever to manage in the premier league. Lampard was the correct choice out of those two because we needed someone who would immediately command the respect of the dressing room.
The problem was the lack of options the board presented, not picking Lampard over Periera. I am happy to admit I have been wrong on Lampard and I expected him to do much better, but I have no doubt in my mind that the fans were right to want Lampard over Periera. Especially after that utterly embarrassing, unprofessional, interview he did live on sky.
Have you forgot about El Ghazi?a player coming in tells me he’s not getting sacked
