Board should have acted weeks ago. Now we have dug ourselves an even bigger hole wasting our "easiest run of fixtures" on a manager who is tactically hopeless and players who look unmotivated, uncoached and lost. Knew we would lose today. Resigned to us going down our only shot to staying up and its getting slimmer, is a new manager and a few new players.

Look at it this way: we cant get any worse than we are form-wise and were still in this with a fighting chance of getting out of it with a new manager and some new players.

I know Arsenal and Liverpool are next, but I personally doubt we can go the rest of the season like this without piling up a few points. And the clubs around us like S'ton and B'mouth and Wolves have had their reboot but we can still overtake them with a couple of back to back results.

With this board, I fear that's two weeks searching for a new manager. Expect Lampard has been told by now, if he wasn't before the game. His managerial career over you'd think.

We sack everyone. That’s what our club has become.

And the root of those issues is the board. They hire the managers in the first place. Money spent on transfers etc.

Thankfully, we're still in this. It could've been far worse had today's results gone differently. Reset, bring in a different voice speaking at the players and we can drag ourselves out.
