Compare him to Eddie Howe.

Howe took a Steve Bruce Newcastle that looked utterly awful and made them better, yes, they’ve spent some dough, but for the most part they’re Steve Bruces’ players and Howe has improved them all, Lampard has made ours worse.

Longer term though new stadiums are a great lift to any club, you just need to somehow scrape through this season and then come up with a longer term footballing strategy and only employ managers/coaches that match it so not ending up with a mish mash squad from 8 managers/head coaches with different styles.

And tell Moshiri he is not allowed to decide on anything anymore from now on. That will give you a 50% boost for a start.

As much as I agree with you id say its too late anyway now.

Got to win 8 out of 18 games to stay up itd be a massive ask to any manager. Let alone the dross we'll be linked with because of this inept board.

Whoever is coming in has to have one eye on the championship let's be honest.

Personally reckon it'll be Rooney. Did well in the championship, had no money, had to promote from the academy and "gets the club".

We're everton football club ffs we should be able to attracted the best up and coming coaches in the world. Not the elite obviously but the next level down and We're literally having to scrap the bottom of the barrel because the board is still living in 2007.

5 games late to sack him but mate we shall never give up.

Sack FL asap and I hope someone has already been line-up to takeover.

Get a couple of good attacking players at any cost because staying up worth about £150m to us a season.

The irony of that, is you could scarcely find one person on here who would’ve welcomed Howe when he may have been interested in us.
