2022/23 Frank Lampard

He had money to spend. Just bought poo like McNeil.
And Onana.

I’m not his biggest fan. Been ok last couple of games but otherwise average, clumsy, careless. Clearly has the assets though.

He’d probably be great in a proper team. Potentially great player, but poor signing. He is worth his price to join better squads than ours, but we shouldn’t have splurged so much on him. Could have halved the price and got a player of lesser potential and quality that would have been more useful in our scrappy midfield. We haven’t got a hope of getting the most out of a player like him. Proverbial midfield Rolls Royce in a scrapyard.

So that basically puts all of last summer signings in the toilet.

We do need to act but to say we need to win 8 out of 18 is the same basically for everybody in the bottom six cos we're that close, as we're all poor (let's face it if any of the bottom 6 were consistent they wouldn't be on the bottom 6) it'll be a matter of just outperforming those around us.
Our biggest problem is that the teams around us are all beating us, so while we’re close in terms of points, we’re quite clearly the worst of a bad bunch at this moment in time. We don’t have many winnable games left whoever is in charge, if it’s lampard I’m starting to think we don’t have any.

Can't believe anyone would even copy in that absolute weirdo Benitez account too. Proper wrong 'en that guy.
I cannot believe you want to have a dig in every opportunity I did not kill your parents or something.

Btw those players had been bought for around £120m (plus loan fees). Patterson and Myko were not signed by Lampard. That’s what got wrong.

What I am saying is Lampard should stop finding excuses. He had money to spend.

Bournemouth, Southampton and Wolves all changed managers and all got a boost from it. They may still be with us near the bottom but they at least handed themselves the chance to get out of the mess they're in - and if they hadn't, they'd all three be marooned at the foot of the table right now.

We cant ignore that option any longer. The time has come to go for the reboot. This manager is beaten in every game he takes charge of. The team look busy but clueless. It's time for a fresh approach. We cant delay it for another match.
