The longer we leave it, the less time a new manager has to work with these players.

I’d write those games off regardless, but another month of training with a half decent manager could be vital in the long run.

Those games might well be "write offs" but it's about a new coach getting their method(s) across as soon as possible. If we get someone in place for the next training session I can't help but feel it would do our squad the World of good.

Someone somewhere out there knows if he’s being sacked I beg someone just says so that I can stop refreshing my phone every 5 mins for no news

Honestly, if he's not sacked, that might be it for me. Im desperate for them to give me a reason to swerve this club.

I should have walked away when they gave it to that fat kopite.
The fan protest argument is also blown out of the water by the fact Moshiri went on talksport, doubled down on his support for Lampard, BEFORE the protests. He had absolutely no need to do that ridiculous radio interview.

Bang on, they don’t know how to handle this situation, it’s a volatile vacuum and they are held in fear of moving.

Not the decisiveness we need.
The whole of football is watching on and wondering why we have a manager who has us in the relegation spots with 3 wins in 21 matches apparently getting backed to carry on.

That'd be the Moshiri I wanted out when nearly all others were swooning over him...just like you were?
You had no basis for your dislike.

You just hated him cos everybody else liked him.

I've said for years, the people who crow about failing aren't some kind of sages, they just play the percentages. 28 years this club has failed and it will for many, many more.

I can’t believe these absolute criminals that run the club have convinced everyone that the fans make decisions around hiring and firing managers. We are BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE, the manager should be sacked on performance grounds. Why are they waiting for the fans to start demanding his head as if that’s the deciding factor? Does any other club on earth operate like that? Why do some of our fans think that’s normal?

If that were true, then we may as well give up. It wouldn't get more inept than that

I think its more that they have no idea who they would appoint next

They'd get a better idea of that by sacking him...and there is a caretaker to turn to in the meantime...who couldn't possibly be as bad as Lampard.

Say goodbye to high pressure when FL leads the team in the Championship. Good for the heart.

That EFC Daily is always cherry picking the quotes to tweet. That quote is taken from the article in the Telegraph which starts with

Frank Lampard is set to find out his fate as Everton manager within the next 24 hours, with sources indicating that the club are preparing to make a change. Everton’s majority shareholder, Farhad Moshiri, has held talks with the club’s board over Lampard’s future, with consideration understood to have been given to potential replacements.

The quote in the tweet is just guesswork from them.

The whole spin that the fans control what the club do at boardroom level was blown out the water when they appointed a fat washed up Kopite.
That was before they got turned on by the fans.

They are struck with fear now not knowing which way to turn. The only hope is that Moshiri just gets a grip here and weilds the axe.

Was the SSN reactions yesterday - not they should have said anything btw, no one wants to own it or be seen to be taking the decision on, we need leaders to make decisions whether popular or unpopular, the tail has been wagging the dog for to long.

I suspect the relationship between the board and owner is volatile and difficult at the moment, both probably wishing the other takes the flack - leading to the vacuum and inertia. The timing of the protests hasn’t helped us.
