He's a good guy is Lampard. He's just miles out of his depths with the whole manager thing. He would've done better sticking to lower leagues for a few years before even attempting premier league management.

It'll be an indictment of Lampard if we manage to save ourselves through the graft and guile of our midfielders, especially Doucoure, who he couldn't get a tune out of even though he was a world class midfielder in his playing days. It really makes one wonder about what sort of coaching occurred during his time here.

I think that's exactly it he really needs to work at picking up other tactical ideas and experience at lower league clubs. He might then be ready for the step up to premier League level and it's a big might.

Also the number of coaches we had under him seem a lot more than we have under dyche now, I could be wrong but he seemed like he had a lot of staff whereas dyche has brought in 3?

I only counted 3 on the touchline this weekend; Woan, Stone and someone I don't recognise (they might not even be a coach!)
