Our PPG improved last season and we survived "against all odds" because Richarlison turned into prime Ronaldo for few games near the end of last season. Nothing shows that it was because of Lampard, but rather we survived in spite of Lampard. If it wasn't for Richarlison, we would be playing the likes of Luton and Coventry this season, but I think this will be inevitable next season if we don't act soon enough.

Well he didnt really. He got 8 goals or whatever in open play.

But yes, Lampard got more out of him, which was good management.

What does a transfer embargo mean when you have one of the best squads on the planet. In 19/20 Chelsea finished with 72 points and won the Europa League. Lampard achieved 66 points and would have missed out on the CL were it not for Leicester's capitulation.

But they werent. They had just finished 4th the season before.

They werent even the best squad in the PL. He had no money to spend and maintained performance.

But yes, had other teams got more points, he would have finished lower. They didnt though, which is an important detail.

The idea Lampard did badly season 1 is wrong mate. He did badly season 2, but to lump them together sort of weakens that's point IMO.
