Surprising when as a player his goal scoring record was unreal. We are never walking the ball into the net but at least let shots off because they could go anywhere with deflection etc

Bizarre last 10 minutes that, seemed almost content to take the 1-0 defeat. Throw the kitchen sink, so what if you ship another goal doing that.

His subs and selections have genuinely been atrocious lately. You can argue everyone he brought on tonight should’ve arguably started tonight alongside the person they were subbed on for. Bringing on Maupay was pointless when they were just pumping it up high, bringing on McNeil was pointless without Calvert Lewin and he brought off Gray despite Gordon being lucky to not get sent off and doing absolutely nothing all game, Garner did well but why bring Iwobi off when Gana looked atrocious.

Could’ve easily gone 4-4-2 or something like that and actually gone for it. It’s always reactive never proactive, same thing at this point getting beat 2/3-0 as it is 1-0 so why not have a go?
