Tbf to Farhad he really is just Usmanovs bagman and does what he is told to do. There were a number of reports at the time that said Abramovich had recommended Benitez to Usmanov. That's what I don't like about Moshiri, he has only ever been the 'owner' on paper it's never really been him making decisions imo until things hit the fan recently and he has taken a back seat. Usmanov is well known to be a big football fan much like Abramovich whereas Farhad isn't as far as I am aware.
Yeah, well just hope once the ground is done he goes, before he does anymore harm

Farhad is every bit as big a football fan as Usmanov.

What did you hear? Everything I've heard suggests he's very much into his football. As a fan like, obviously he's not a knowledgeable fan.
I only know stuff from when they were involved at Arsenal mate and it was Usmanov that was the footy fan not Farhad, things can change though.

It’s not going to happen this season so you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting it soon. This season, with the players we have, we’re exactly where I expected us to be.

Our attacking players are some of the poorest and least consistent in the league. It’s a process and unfortunately because of previous waste we’re having to do it but at a time.

Next summer Frank will prioritise creativity and goals to add into the team. If he achieves the same uptick with attacking recruitment as he has done in making us more solid/competitive this season then next season we’ll improve again.
The available talent is not the only issue.

Yes agreed, that bit is above our pay grade and hopefully within the management teams. It is probably about another transfer window or two. I think it is a marker of an improving team, we are just on a slower trajectory than Newcastle
Newcastle destroyed us with a front 3 of Wilson, Murphy and Almiron (I know he can't stop scoring suddenly but still). It isn't all about the players.

It might not be but it’s certainly the main one.
I don't agree. There may be the occasion where the players aren't up to it, I think United at home falls into that category, but we get outplayed in matches where the talent level of the opponents isn't overwhelming. Those times you can start to see the cracks in what Lampard is doing.

What a very strange proposition, you don’t think we’ll improve going forward when we upgrade the extremely poor forward players we currently have? Bizarre! I’ll bet you we don’t get worse, that’s for sure.

David Moyes didn’t evelove his style much over his tenure but we played much better football when we had the likes of Baines, Piennar, Arteta, Osman, Fellaini etc in the team compared to the team with Kilbane, Carsely, Gravsen etc.
