There are thousands of blues on this forum and I only have regular run ins with the same handful of suspects who just dont like me and never will do no matter what I post (you're one of them).

I've accepted that, I don't post on here to make friends or to join cliques likewise I'm old and wise enough to know you'll never be everyones cup of tea in life expecially when you're someone opinionated who stands out from the crowd and doesn't just blend in.

You enjoy your evening ?
That's dubious

Something he said post match has me concerned. Paraphrasing here, but he said that other clubs have to make a strikerless line up work and that we're no exception.

Now that strikes me for two reasons:

1/ it completely ignores the fact that Rondon's introduction changed the game in the last phase
2/ it implies that we'll be getting no new striker through the door before the next game against Forest

If I was guessing I think that Lampard has been completely wrong footed by the Richarlison sale and persuaded that Calvert-Lewin was capable of leading this team for a season.

That's frightening.

I like Frank and I'm really in his corner wanting him to do well. But he went with a fanciful front line today when he needn't have, and I have my doubts whether he's thinking clearly in terms of prioritising player purchases.

A big decisive win against Forest will be very welcome. But if we dont get it the pitchforkers will be out in force, and in many ways its a self-inflicted wound.

Hopefully he sorts out Gueye and a very decent striker before Forest.

No they won't.

How long does Frank get?

Without winning?
Without picking up points?

Or does he have the season even if that means us going down?
I personally would let him manage his way either into a position where he can make this team his own or else out of the job.

I've no interest in a change of management. But I don't share the optimism or confidence of his supporters. I see no evidence that he can be a success - in his CV or in the job he has done to date. The issues at the club are in the boardroom. I'm happy to let Frank at it at this point - but I wish his cheerleaders would pipe down. Doing so would allow those of us who are not invested in him to give him a bit more time. I can accept a slow start and even poor results. I cannot accept all of that and the nonsense that Frank is the second coming.

Well then stop chatting shizz and trying to wind people up.
We all have very different views ( as it should be ) but you continually grind people with your Benitez nonesense.
No right minded Blue will EVER forgive or forget you for it & the other 5 or 6 Jaffa lovers.

But do please carry on.

Not sure anyone has said he is the second coming. Most just want to give him time and not overreact to 2 losses.

You then have the benitez cult trying to rile people and cause disruption to the club. So people then defend Lampard and big him up.

Everton taking it's toll on Franks barnet....

I doubt Rondon had more than a half in him today in that heat.

I never mentioned Benitez once in the post you quoted.

As I said you look for reasons to argue with me as you dont like me, and you will do today, tomorrow, in 10 years, 20 years and so on and so forth until one of us is in the ground.

Thats cool but I'm not going to take part in the needless hate of a fellow blue.
