He decided he didn't care if we won tonight to prioritise Saturday, so if he doesnt get the points then he should go. He made a rod for his own back.

I don't agree with the team selection tonight. I think it a stupid call on Lampard's part and disrespectful to the travelling fans.

Even so he still has my total backing. This cycle of hiring and firing has to end at some point. Its one of the biggest reasons we're in this mess as a club so for better or worse I'm with this manager till the bitter end.

He'd already made his decision to give the squad some minutes. Bournemouth did the exact same thing.

End of the day, the same players for seasons made the same errors and lost the game.

Lampard’s record isn’t good enough, he’s not done anything, he’s similar to gerrard at villa. We could win on Saturday but for me he’s not good enough. Why should Lampard get a top job with a premier league club, he’s got no credentials as a manager.

It's all quite similar to this time last year, with the same arguments for keeping Benitez being put forward for Lampard.

People are saying Lampard did well to keep us up last season. In a way, I agree, but he actually came very close to NOT keeping us up. Failing to beat Burnley away was shocking, as was failing to beat Watford and going 2-0 down to Palace. Lampard didn't change things around, he kept us up by the skin of our teeth, and there has been little to no improvement this season.

If Benitez with that kind of players is unable to win matches its Benitez fault. If Lampards gets beaten 4:1 by LOL Bournemouth it is not Lampards fault? no its the players fault.Logic no?

The manager is ultimately responsible.

You watch these players off the ball if you're watching in person. On Saturday evening out of boredom more than anything else I was watching our forwards as we passed the ball pointlessly round the back... Sometimes screwing up even the most simple passes in a state of panic. They are static. No runs. No communication. No idea of what to do. Coaching is the answer here. The idea of passing the ball around and waiting for an opening is too old school. It doesn't work. Subs don't work because the system is the problem.

Not sure Frank has the technical know-how to fix this mess
