Lampard picked that team so he deserves some stick rightly so. He spewed it end of. He chose the league over the carabao cup. It was the way we lost though to bournmouths reserves. Last night wasnt far off our first eleven last season and all the same old faults and lack of any pride in the shirt was there for all to see. Nothing has changed. Those players attitude is a disgrace. The same team which had large sections of the fanbase convinced we were down at christmas. We are currently 2 points off the bottom 3 and 2 points from 11th. The decision to rely on calvert lewin staying fit has backfired and that is the main reason for me why we are where we are. We need to buy a centre forward and a wide striker coz gray, mcneill and gordon arent consistant enough. My main criticism of lampard is he keeps tinkering with the midfield. Play them the same as the palace match. Anyway keep the faith UTFT.

Has Frank addressed the fact that we've faced MOST shots per game this season and created 3rd least amount of shots/chances?

Its been like that for years. Those stats were shocking even under ancelotti.
Lets face it we buy poorly in the main.
Leicester go buy the likes of tielemans and maddison for the same money we go buy the likes of doucoure and schneiderlin.
Evertons recruitment is diabolical. Its no mystery why we have such bad stats.

The worrying issue to me is that if he plays our full strength team we probably only lose 2 or 3-1 to Bournemouth's reserves. there was not a marked difference between how we played last night and how we have been playing recently.

Seriously how does that fraud Tom Davies manage to outlive every single manager? He simply won’t go.
He'll be here in ten years from now, with Kenwright's arm around him. Happily plodding along as a bit-part player, enjoying a cushy life on easy street, with more millions in his pocket than he can count. Nice work if you can get it.

It could have also been a longer term plan to fire some of these duds off, he said in a press release that if they keep making these kind of mistakes., that is why you don't play much. I suspect he may have had these kind of conversations behind closed doors with some of these fellas and told them that, now he's given them the chance to play and fooked up. A few of those playing last night will be out of the door in the next few months.
I hope to god you are right.

Never mind the next few months - Frank has to back his statement up this weekend and not even put the idiots in the match day squad. If he doesn’t drop them cold, then what was the point of his post match comments?

So we get rid of Lampard and bring in either one of Vitor Pereira, Big Dunc, Wayne Rooney or bring back Roberto Martinez. I honestly think even if we lose this weekend that we stick with Frank, and bring him some new players to work with in January.

It's all about deciding which course of action is the least destructive for this club, and for me that's sticking with Lampard. So as of now i'm very annoyed about our current situation, but Frank still has my backing for the job.

It’s never a bad idea to get a world class manager. Never. If the worst does happen with Lampard and he is remotely available we should be all over it. There’s nothing left to burn at this club, everything is on fire anyway, may as well have someone who can handle the heat.
