Tim, forgive me for not really reading your posts these days, you are more downbeat than Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The grim reaper would tell you to cheer up.
Unfortunately when an idiot like me can see things happening and the club can't, then I haven't much confidence in things getting better.

Anyone who has watched Everton in the last 3 or 4 years knew those 11 players couldn't win.

I'm not asking for a lot either. Just to win a couple more games than last year and try simple things like playing our better players

I vividly remember when Maupay was brought in some on here was defending the decision saying he would be a replacement for Richy as they "Only scored 8 or 9 goals a season"

Lampard had his striker, and he is no better than Rondon...

Surely you'd want him to stay then? Get us relegated, then the club have a chance of going to Wembley and winning a play-off trophy you've always wanted to see.

(sorry FB92, couldn't resist...)

Also Benitez threw a cup game last season and he supported that decision

?
Never mind a cup game, was it City away where you could visibly see the players were basically instructed not to cross the half way line under any circumstances even if they had the ball. Volunteered defeat right from kick off. Never seen anything like that.

Yeah I remember that, was it when Iwobi basically went clean through and then just stopped running as if he was under orders not to score?

<insert Michael Scott Thank You gif here> that was the exact image in my mind I had; like he almost had to turn around and run right back to his designated own-half position. Most cowardly game/performance I've ever seen in my life, that one.

The home derby was the lowest point for me, he deliberately set us up in a formation that was always going to get walked through. Listening to them sing the name of our manager as they utterly thumped us at home was rock bottom and the fact that he wasn’t sacked that evening was a complete disgrace.

He went to throw the Chelsea away game too but the kids pulled a result out that bag.

And then he never played them again.

They could've been 3 up in 10minutes.
