At least 6 players that played so poorly at Bournemouth last night will be trotted out on Saturday... Absolutely nailed on...
Patterson out of the defence, Doucoure and Garner out of the midfield (depending if Gueye or Onana come through training by Friday) and Maupay at best from the starters

Pickford, Tarkowski, Coady, Mykolenko back in from those rested and McNeil, Iwobi and Gray from the subs

I hate the "we cant sack another manager" narrative, so are we meant to be stuck with someone who cant do the job because we are scared to sack a manager.

Well played by Lampard to woo the fans ensuring he gets longer, I`m not sure the board will want to leave it so late looking at what happened last season...

The other narrative is "Lampard will come good when he buys a striker", well he did, MAUPAY!

You do realise the man has been in the job for 9months, right?

Im just checking, cos you make it seem like hes been here for years.

Yeah, hopefully he can beat Bournemouth and turn it around...

But performances have been badly gash in the main this season, 9 wins in 9 months and only 3 wins in the last 15 DESPITE adding 7 or 8 players in the summer.

EDIT: My point is we`ve changed nearly half the squad and yet we are earning points at the same rate as last season.

To be fair mate you have been calling for his head for the last 6 months.

Who do you want as an alternative then?

You're entitled to your opinion.

We can't keep sacking managers. You become a Southampton or a Watford or Sunderland.

We did sack (let's work it out) Benitez, Silva, Koeman and Allardyce, were we scared to sack them? We also sacked Martinez and he was given much longer than most managers thesedays.

I think we have to ride out this unpleasant storm blue skies will be here again.

yes spot on.

We cant keep Lampard out of embarrassment, or just wanting stability, you need to going in the right directions getting a minimum level of results. A manager needs to earn extra time.
Currently Lampard is close to the board getting itchy to sack.

If we loose on Saturday & Boxing day well likely be in the bottom 3 going into the new year, if that happens he might be sacked.

This all hypothetical, I hope the optimists among us are right and we beat Bournemouth away, then win on boxing day and transform the squad in January.
