Kane gets injured Spurs aren't getting relegated......Massive difference.
They have different targets than us. Kane getting injured can cost them top 4 and going deep in champions league. Lampard needed a result because he's under pressure and winning becomes a habit, just like losing becomes a habit. He's the manager, win lose or draw he has to take it, making excuses is not acceptable imo.

I disagree.

I think we've seen him set up quite intelligently in games against Liverpool and a few others. The team were compact and disciplined and created a couple of chances per game to take.

His problem has been that we play tat most of the time - but dangerous tat who can cause us a headache - and he's instructing players to get on the ball and build up from their own half, but the players we have aren't good enough to withstand even minor pressing. That's why we need a more creative presence in the team and an outball to a real attacker who has mobility who can compete for long balls and come back to show for a pass from midfield.

I think we have to accept that he's been here 11 months and 1 transfer window and get behind him. For the next few months at the very least.
Oh, I'm all for giving him time. But I feel that doing so could very well result in relegation. I am comfortable with that very real threat, but I don't think the club will be.

And to address your point, it's not much good if Frank can set us up well against the better sides while struggling against the detritus that makes up the rest of the league. We still mainly lose to those top teams - and if we are not taking points against the rest, well, here comes the Championship.

So, for clarity, my position is give Frank time. In fact, give him the season. But do so with your eyes open because doing so risks relegation. I doubt Moshiri will be as sanguine, though.

Let’s see if Franks backs up his post match’s words, and bombs Keane, Mina, Davies and Rondon out the squad.

Give Mills, Cannon, Price and Welch as shot Frank - sick of seeing overpaid wasters constantly let us down.

And on the edge of top 10 I suppose it depends of how people want to look at it, the season isn’t even half way through yet.

I think we need to look at the performances on the field to really consider how we are, agin Bournemouth, well how would one describe that ?

No, I dont mean give him the season. I mean give him a transfer window and do the business early enough to see results change for the better by late January / early February. If we're still near the bottom then pull the plug on him.

I want him to turn this around - and I think he will - but he's just an employee of the club and the club's top flight status is the priority.

But if we can stick with him and retain stability that's the preference.

All this hype for Martinez, he was lucky inherited the team built up by Moyes,, okay got Lukaku but rubbish from a relegate Wigan then the later signings were also U/S.

Remember his last season here, OMG !

Martinez would be an out and out disaster.
Hate even thinking about rehiring ex managers - it didn’t work for the gaffer with us (twice!), so why even dream it could work with fellas not fit to lace his boots, like Moyes or Martinez!?!!

His two 'disastrous seasons' got us two mid-table finishes and two cup semi finals.
