God I hate modern football.

We all got behind the team = results picked up. We all enjoyed the atmosphere.

We all cryarse every loose pass = team gets worse, game gets more toxic.

It blows my mind how short people's memories are.

Worst home record state across all the big leagues came during covid… why might that be???

Well he has added to this mess of a squad. Shipped a load out and replaced them with his crap.

Short memories here:

Lampard took over a mess. He kept his nerve and got us safe. The club sold Richarlison, a player he;d have wanted to retain, obvioulsy.

His biggest fault for me was being too loyal to Calvert-Lewin and not spending what we had on a couple of new strikers...something he'll have to do in January.

People need to get a grip and stop behaving like 'kin brats. This is easily recoverable. There's 23 games of the season left and we'll easily get the 26 points we need to get safe with even a half decent striker / bang average striker.

If Vitor Pereria had the exact same results as Lampard in both seasons, 99% of fans would want him gone.

Because 99% of fans didn't want Pereria in the first place.

TBF, it's hardly been a long period in PL games. We had two defeats and a creditable draw. The level of performance against a very good Leicester was the worst of it. Bournemouth are our level and used home advantage to beat us.

He's unproven as a manager so I guess you're saying that whilst he's been a great player, he doesn't have the qualities to be a good manager

I'd be a bit more generous, to think that he might have a shot at it, given his knowledge / intelligence and standing within the game, network etc

But he doesn't have a track record, he's a young manager that we've taken on here, rather than say a Benitez, Koeman or Allardyce who've been there and done it. But they didn't last

So basically, can any manager survive a bad run at Everton and the subsequent fan reaction?

And then, is it all these managers who are the problem, or something about the club or the fans?

Lampard is a great up and coming manager who just got destroyed 7-1 by a younger manager with the fraction of the experience of Frank and a team that spends about 20% of what we have.

Their forwards are much better. All PL teams have better forwards than us.

Have to pull the trigger now. There will be lots of managerial changes now and they’ll come available after the World Cup. Can’t leave it until after Wolves or there will be nobody left. If you’re one game away from the sack you should go anyway.
