Maybe not forcing, but it it is more than an invitation to open up and some will be caught in 2 minds, especially season ticket holders who have already paid in advance. It's literally so simple.
If you have a ticket and are scared or vulnerable you have the choice not to go, just because football is back on they aren't forcing you to go.
Hate to side with Dave on principle but he's right, what's the point in locking down for a year, then saying ah sod it, lets all have massive get togethers all over the Country to watch a football game.
Popping the bubble now with a vaccine that has been proven ineffective in many cases as our shield is mental imo.

I just don't see why they wouldnt step back up incrementally given the steps that have been taken so far.
Also, the Vaccine is not the be all and end all. The vaccine neither prevents you from contracting it or spreading it. The supposed advantage of having it is it can reduce symptoms in the infected, which perversely means more people carrying it without knowing, and new guidance is supporting this by suggesting vaccinated do not need to isolate, despite still being infectious. And some people are still getting infected and having severe reactions symptoms despite having had both injections.
Well my mate is laid up with it and has had both vaccines, and nearly half of the reported deaths of the Delta variant have been fully vaccinated. Most of the country should be vaccinated by the time it starts, it's been 18months Im all for everywhere opening up, because you have a choice.
The vaccine doesn't stop you getting it but it's supposed to stop you getting serious illness from covid.

Not saying it hasn't helped reduce numbers, it clearly has, but it's by no means a total solution. Also, a large number of the people who were vulnerable and had the vaccines at the earliest opportunity may need booster shots in the coming months, so who knows.
Simple solution. If you’re scared, stay home. If you want to live your life, live it. Let’s stop telling people how to live their lives.
Can’t tell if you’re having a wind up or what. And if you want to go the park and hit people with a baseball bat, go ahead it's your life, live it.
If people are scared they can stay home.
Sick of people telling other people how to live their lives.
Can’t tell if you’re having a wind up or what.
But I agree with the second two lines.
If everyone does as they like then the vulnerable have a choice of cutting themselves off from society or death in your view.
I choose not to wish the slaughter of the innocent personally.
No masks to muffle the sound either.I'm in training now.
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
If you want to seek your aim of Herd Immunity with the minimum use of vaccine then this is the way to do it.From an outsider's point of view, does seem a bit odd that full stadium's will be permitted with the delta variant seemingly in wide circulation.
That said, life has to get back to normal sometime soon, but I would have though there would be restrictions (i.e. limited capacity) in place for a few months yet, at least until hospitalizations and case numbers start dropping again.
