I won’t be going whilst it’s like this, it’s literally not worth it.

Christian Eriksen was a fit 29 year old and was minutes from death mate.

There is more to life than Covid mate - if you are double jabbed and in good health the risks are massively reduced from what they were 6 months ago.

Im at the stage now where im living life to the full dont know whats round the corner could drop dead of a heart attack tomorrow!

Have had first jab, had covid last week, it’s not pleasant, don’t want it again.

My Godfather died of it last year mate - spent the last few months of his life hid away as was scared of catching it - took ill and went the hospital for a scan and caught it there and never survived it. You can catch it anywhere sadly.

Once you're fully jabbed its as good as its gonna get as Covid isnt going away anytime soon.

Sorry for your loss. Yep understand what your saying about the jabs, once you’ve had the two that’s it basically.

This is from Sky News today:

UK records 42,302 new cases - highest since 15 January when 55,761 cases were reported
It is also the first time the daily figure has hit more than 40,000 since 22 January.
A further 49 new deaths within 28 days of a positive test have also been reported.

Now I am no expert but things seem to be getting out of hand quite rapidly
There will be hundreds dying ach day by the time the season starts.

Dont let Johnson kill you or your people.

Stay out of the stadiums.

Everton FC need to really think about what they're doing here.

They trade on an identity of being a community club. If they open their doors to tens of thousands of people at a point when this virus is having catastrophic effects they will be facilitating the destruction of the coommunity they profess to care for.

And they cant hide behind central and local government guidelines either. They are a private organisation and they make the call here.

Pretty sure every ground in the country will be full, I’ve paid my money and want to go.

I dont care what every other club / ground are doing. I care waht Everton are doing.

Opening up to 30k to 40k people will amount to hosting super spreader events at a time when we'll need community action against the virus.

Everton have a reputation to maintain. If they fall into line with this Johnson madness there's no coming back from that.

Both Everton and Liverpool need to make a stand here.

I've had the virus and I am now double vaccinated while my son, who goes with me, has also had it, so to some extent I feel the risk to us is rather low.

However, with the potential to still spread the virus after contracting the virus / vaccination does add a doubt in my mind whether it's the best option.

Fortunately, we still have nearly a month to decide before our first home game.

Could say the same about the supermarkets, the pubs, the restaurants, the shops, the factory's, offices, everything. Businesses have got to survive, as long as all the vulnerable and everyone else who wants it has been double jabbed we need to get on with it. Otherwise life will be hiding away for us, our kids and their kids.

It’s personal choice, if you’ve had both jabs already or will have had them by August 14th and want to go the game then do so. If you’re still a bit unsteady about it and want to leave it a bit longer then great that’s your decision. If you feel like you should leave it entirely because you’re spooked out by the whole thing then fully respect the decision, not people’s place to judge
