Full Capacity Stadiums set to be allowed in England for new season

Is it time to open the stadiums at full capacity?

I'll believe it when I see it anyway.

The rates are going back up steadily because restrictions have eased steadily since April and May and slowly but surely, more and more crowds are gathering for various reasons. We were pretty much locked down before that between December and April.

If everything opens with no restrictions on 19th, no home working etc, there will be a huge rise. 4.5 weeks before the season starts is plenty of time to close things down again.

I'm gonna spend Saturdays watching re-runs of this old favourite...

The claim has gone from 'breaking the link between infection and death' to 'weakening the link between infection and death'.

I'm just flabbergasted that people still listen to this government and believe the utter BS they claim. 18 months of this nonsense. If you want to fall for their con-trick again, fine. I'll advise anyone who'll listen to be cautious - attending a stadium cheek by jowl with 40K others is not a wise move when the infection rates are off the charts again. That government doesn't care about you or your family. So dont think they do. And your own relativity in terms of 'living a bit as well' is for the birds. You're gambling with your health and those close to you to watch a match. That's just daft.
What if you and your family are all fully vaxxed Dave?
