G.O.T. Fantasy Premier League 23/24

Going with Richarlison for Captain again this week. I also have Son, Bowen, Iwobi, and Watkins in my team who are all able to produce a goal. But, as we all know, the Christmas period can throw up some crazy results etc. Maybe DCL will do the business with a hat-trick... I can but hope :D
Was looking at Iwobi to replace the duke this week. Didn’t in the end as I took my team in a bit of a different direction but he looks potentially a really good punt for the next 2 games. If he hauls I’ll be gutted

So rolled this week, have Pau out and possibly Gordon injured and possibly but have Braners to come in and Archer playing against his former club and wanted to keep one transfer by to bring back in the Striking Viking if hes deemed fit for our game next week, while i also want two in the chamber as i have to loose Son and Salah in a couple of weeks and have a provisional plan around that.

Interesting looking at some of the strategies across the game, i see some have gambled on spending the Haaland money on TAA or spread it around. Id say a few are counting on Son and Salah going and then reinvesting that in Haalland and going without in the interim for a game or so - could be genius if he's still injured and out for a few weeks - but a definite hide behind the sofa one. lol

Just looking through a few teams, there is a real template emerging, Haaland is a protagonist at the moment and depending on his fitness it could dictate a lot over the next few weeks with also other injuries and suspensions. A lot of luck i think is going to be telling depending on what side it falls.

The next available opportunities to be creative or look to make a bit of difference will be what people may do with Son and Salah in a couple of weeks.

A lot of people have made the gamble on Haaland it seems. Personally I have a hunch that he’ll be back to face us but that’s not really based on anything

That's what I was thinking. With Fulham facing Burnley and Bournemouth in their next two fixtures I felt Iwobi could just pull something out of the bag. I've also managed to keep Doucouré in my squad, so that's a big plus.

Knew it. That Wilder fella is a canny manager and Villa don’t have the flair. Just balls into the box was like meat and drink to them. Hey ho, nearly everyone captained him so not much harm done. If it wasn’t for that big haul Watkins had ages ago he’d just be an overpriced Solanke. Time to veer away from the template if you’ve got the balls I reckon.
